#25 Senior winger Ally Bentler is the daughter of Amanda and David Bentler of Thornhurst. Ally enjoys fun crafts, having fires with friends, swimming, and kayaking 🛶. Her favorite subject is history 📚. Her favorite food is fish tacos 🌮 . Her role model is her future self 🙋‍♀️.

She plans on going to college to pursue a career as a psychiatric physicians assistant. 👩‍⚕️ Thank you Ally for being a valued member of our team! 🔴⚫️⚔️⚽️💪🏼

Ally would like to give Mr. Nardella the shirt off her back. Ally states, “Mr. Nardella is always willing to talk to anyone about anything. He is the most welcoming teacher and person since my freshmen year. He has alwayed helped me with what ever I need weather it was school work or just some simple advice. He has always had my back no matter what.”

Congratulations to all the girls named to the LL Coaches All Stars and the whole team for supporting them by being great teammates. This including our amazing athletic trainers and administrators.

We had a great season tieing the most for the wins in a season and raising over $1000 for the Northeast Su***de Prevention Initiative to help them raise awareness for mental health concerns.

History made in Manchester, PA!

defeated Conrad Weiser, 2–0, to win the PIAA Class 3A State Championship — the first in program history!

⚽ Scoring Recap:
• Joey Pivirotto – Unassisted goal (37:11 remaining)
• Nico Bustos – Header off a James Mitchell free kick (17:18 remaining)

The Comets (24–1) finished a record-breaking season with their 18th shutout, capping off the first-ever Boys Soccer State Title in Abington Heights history!

🚔 COMMUNITY CELEBRATION – WELCOME HOME, CHAMPIONS!

Our State Champion Comets are expected to arrive home around 3:50 PM today and will be greeted with a police and fire es**rt through Clarks Summit!

💙 We encourage everyone to line the streets along the route and welcome them back to the high school as they return home with the championship trophy!

Kelsey would like to recognize Mrs. Dawne Scheller with the shirt off her back. Kelsey states, “Mrs. Scheller is one of the kindest teachers that I have ever had. She brought so much joy to a subject that I didn’t think I would like. She constantly is pushing her students to be their best. Her class would always make me feel better after a hard day. Thank you Mrs. Scheller for making me a buyer person inside and outside of the classroom.”

#39 Center Mid, Betty Clark!

Betty is the daughter of Jennifer and Patrick Clark of Moscow. Betty enjoys reading, crafting, napping 😴 , and talking on her phone. 📱 Betty’s favorite subject is Latin. Her favorite food is Mac and cheese 🫕 and her Mom is her role model. ❤️ Betty plans on attending college and would like to use her gifts to help people 🙏.

Junior defender #7 Sadie Placek is the daughter of Stacey and Rick Placek of Moscow.

Sadie’s favorite subject is Math and statistics. Her favorite food is chicken noodle soup 🍜 and she enjoys dance 💃🏼 and hanging out with her friends on her free time. Her Mom is her role model. Sadie would like to to to college 📚 and pursue and career in occupational therapy or sports medicine.

Junior defender Julia Martin, #26 is the daughter of Christina and Tony Martin of Gouldsboro.

Julia likes working, playing soccer ⚽️, being with her family, and watching TV 📺. Her favorite food is pasta 🍝 and her favorite subject is math 🧮 . Her role model is Sergeant Lewis from the State Police. After HS she would like to go into the Army and then the State Police 👮‍♀️.
