πββοΈ Week in Review | 2 Weeks to Sydney π¦πΊ
This week was a mix of recovery, travel, strength work, and getting the legs moving again as Sydney Marathon gets closer.
Sunday: πΆββοΈ 1-mile walk
A very easy recovery day after Saturdayβs big 20.5-mile long run.
Monday: βοΈ Travel to Hopkinsville
Arrived around 8 PM, but still got in a shoulder & back strength session. No excuses!
Tuesday: πββοΈ 2-mile easy run
The legs were definitely still feeling Saturdayβs 20.5 miles, so this was purely about loosening things up and getting some movement.
Wednesday: 𦡠Leg day + βοΈ home
A morning leg workout followed by an evening flight home. Not exactly a recovery-day recipe, but part of the weekly routine!
Thursday: πββοΈ 5.4-mile easy run
Back into the rhythm. Comfortable miles and letting the legs recover while maintaining some running volume.
Friday: πͺ Chest & arms
Another strength session before the final run of the week.
Saturday: πββοΈ 7.4 miles | 70 minutes
Finished the week with a steady 7.41-mile run at 9:33/mi, averaging 153 bpm. Great morning with the running crew and a beautiful route through the trails.
The big picture
Not a huge mileage week, but a smart week after a 20.5-mile long run. Running, strength training, work travel and recovery all had to fit together.
Now the countdown is getting real:
14 days to Sydney. π¦πΊ
The fitness is built. The job now is to stay healthy, recover, and get to that start line ready.
