Hood to Coast racers!

We are not sure when the official Hood to Coast app is launching and Endorphin isn't releasing one this year. If you're looking for an app to use this year, please check out Run Joy. We are exploring the possibility of an app for next year's race.

Dear ,

Thank you all so much for all your feedback and patience as we have worked to make the apps ready for race day. Creating apps for an event that happens once a year is challenge, and we rely on your bug reports and questions to help us fine-tune.

It looks like there are a couple issues that some people might still be having. Luckily, the fix for both of them is easy!

Incorrect leg distances: The app does have the updated and correct leg distances. Note that these distances are different from the handbook in some cases due to course changes that happened after the handbook went to print.
Incorrect team start times
If you are seeing either incorrect leg distances or your team's start time is not the one given to you by Hood to Coast, simply sign out of the app and sign back in. This will force the app to completely refresh it's data and everything should be right again.

Remember to use your judgement and the handbook for any questions about race rules or timing. The app will give you accurate estimates of exchange times, but always give yourself ample time to meet you runner at the next exchange and defer to the guidance of course officials.

As always, we will be out there racing as well. Look for us on the course! We may not be able to respond as quickly while we are running, but we are more than happy to raise a toast at the finish line and hear about your experience.
