We wil be canceling tonight’s tournament due to potential severe weather and water conditions. We will see you next Thursday back at the Basin. Please help me pass this info along.

Severe thunderstorms are predicted for Thursday evening I will be keeping an eye on the weather and we will make a call by noon Thursday on a decision to fish or not.

We had a good 20 boat turnout last night and a good time was had.

Congratulations to Cam and Brett with a nice 12.24lb bag for the win with a 3.19lb kicker for Big Bass. Tony and Tom took second with 11.54lbs.

Reminder this weeks Thursday Night tournament is in Seneca on the Illinois River. Take off is still at 5pm look forward to seeing everyone.

Tomorrow 4/7 is our next Thursday Nighter we will be a s Big Basin meeting at 5pm take off directly after fishing until 8;15. $50 entry fee plus ramp fee of $10.

We had a cold rain last night for the first Thursday Nighter of 2026 but that didn’t stop the fish from biting!!Congrats...

We had a cold rain last night for the first Thursday Nighter of 2026 but that didn’t stop the fish from biting!!

Congrats to last nights winners.
1st Kevin and Tom 13.37lbs
2nd Hunter and Kaya 13.23lbs
Big Bass- Kevin and Tom 4.11lbs

We also added a fun little twist to see who could bring in the largest non bass species Jackson and Jayden brought in a Drum that was 2.31lbs

Tomorrow night 4/30 first Thursday nighter for 2026 on the DesPlaines. Check-in starting around 4:30 meeting at 5, takeoff immediately after.

Next Thursday 4/30 is the first Thursday Nighter for the 20/6 season on the DesPlaines River at Big Basin. Meeting at 5pm takeoff directly after. Entry fee is $60
