Its that time of year again for our annual Junior Sportsman's Day!

If you have a child ages 9-17, come join us on September 29th 9am-12pm. To learn how to safely enjoy the outdoors with trap, air rifles, rifles, rock climbing, axe throwing, and fishing.

Everything is provided.

Children must be accompanied by an adult

Stevens County Pheasants Forever Youth Lifetime Small Game License Award Sponsored by Stateline Pointers
Stevens County Pheasants Forever and Stateline Pointers are proud to offer one Minnesota Lifetime Small Game License to a deserving youth hunter. This award is intended to encourage the next generation of conservationists, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts by providing a lifetime opportunity to enjoy Minnesota's hunting traditions.
Eligibility Requirements
• Must be a Minnesota resident.
• Must be between the ages of 11 and 17 as of October 1, 2026.
• Must possess a valid Fi****ms Safety Certificate.
Essay Requirement: Applicants must submit an original essay of 500 words or less answering the following question: "What would winning a Minnesota Lifetime Small Game License mean to you?"

The Stevens County Pheasants Forever Committee will review all essays and select one recipient based on the quality of the essay and passion for the outdoors. To ensure a fair and unbiased selection process, all essays will be anonymized prior to review.
Award Presentation: The winner will be recognized during the Stevens County Pheasants Forever Banquet on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Applicants and their families are strongly encouraged to attend the banquet to celebrate this special recognition.

The MACA Trap Team hosted its season-ending Family Fun Shoot on Wednesday, celebrating another great season and recognizing the hard work and accomplishments of its athletes.
