Help me build out my lesson schedule for 2027! I want to hear from anyone who is hoping to get their kids on my schedule for lessons in 2027! Just a reminder children must be 6 months old or able to sit-up independently for 1 minute to sign up!!

Summer is such a great time for swimming but did you know that great swimmers are also made in the fall, winter, and spring? If your child didn’t get into lessons yet- it is not too late. Please reach out to learn what ISR can do to help your family enjoy the water more.

Happy 4th of July Weekend! Here are some tips to help you be safe both in and around the water!🇺🇸🎇❤️💙

🎇Always stay within arms reach of your child when in the water and always be IN the water with your child

🎇Assign a “Water Watcher” in 15 minute increments if you are around the water regardless if swimming time is planned- they must stay off their phone during their “shift”

🎇Hire a lifeguard if you plan to have a party where a pool or other water is present

🎇Place tables, chairs, or any other furnishings a few feet away from your pool child safety fence. Curious children can climb onto these items and find their way over the fence

🎇Check the integrity of pool fence latches and door locks leading to the water- especially if traveling and staying in a rental

🎇Remove pool floats and toys from the pool when finished swimming to not entice a little one into the water

🎇Dress your child in a brightly colored swimsuit if around the water

🎇Drink lots of water and reapply sunscreen often

🎇Use only US Coast Guard approved life jackets when on open water

ISR is different than other traditional swim programs and here is how 👇🏼

🔵Lessons are daily Monday-Friday. You’ll have the same time slot everyday.

🔵Lessons are 10 minutes each day to ensure that I am getting the best approximation from each student. We work in small steps to gain a lot of confidence long term.

🔵Sessions are 6 weeks long. I follow a program that I will explain week 1 but every student will progress at their own level.

🔵Students who are not walking yet will learn a roll back to float sequence. Students who are walking will learn a swim float swim sequence.

🔵Lessons are for students ages 6 months to 6 years old.

🔵Students should pause or discontinue other swim programs during ISR lessons. This is because we teach a different method and if a child is learning two different methods it can be confusing for them.
