Came across this post today!!!! Hearing about this more and more in today’s society! This is why I continue to train women to become more confident!!!!! Do not become a statistic… You are responsible for your personal and family’s safety!!
‼️‼️LADIES PLEASE READ! MAKE SURE YOU’RE PROTECTING YOURSELF! ‼️‼️(Reynolds road exit 123).
Thank God I got away and didn’t have to shoot/ kill him but….
My son and I were going to chic fil a on Reynolds road. (Bryant, Arkansas) We were stopped at the red light on exit 123. A man pulled over from Reynolds, parking right in front of us and the car to the left, trying to block us both in. He got out, (I already had the safety off my gun at this point and directed my son to the “truck gun” as well). Then he started beating on the car to the left, jerking on the door k***s, and came towards my truck. I pointed my gun and told him to get the “pardon my french” back. He didn’t waiver, just threw his hands up like “bring it on”. I thankfully saw a way to escape. I ran up on the curb and was able to make my way around him and call 911. I’m not sure what happened afterwards as by the time we drove back by, he was gone.
I know Arkansas is open carry, but I am so thankful for my training from my Husband and George Brooks! Having my enhanced CHCL and doing active shooter/real life scenario drills is what kept me calm enough to get away today. I don’t know that I would have been level headed/confident enough to do so otherwise.
