🏐🏐7th and 8th grade teams had their first two nights of volleyball. Congrats to both teams on winning all sets both nights and starting their season 2-0 ! 🏐🏐

A lot of people have had questions about team numbers, cuts, and how those cuts are made. We will have to make cuts sadly. We do not have the space to keep everyone and be able to practice. 6,7,and 8 will all have a team of 10-12 players (still deciding numbers). All girls were given a number. 6 people took notes based on drills, game play, athleticism, and attitude. Once all notes were put together, players were ranked, numbers were then matched with names to see who had made the team. We did this in the most fair way possible. Hope that answers everyone’s questions!!

We had 59 girls try out today!! What a great thing to have so much interest! We are currently working on each team list and will have them posted on here and the school doors tomorrow after school dismisses and kids have gone home!!

Day two of open gym brought many new faces!!! I think the high school girls loved working with the middle school girls almost as much as the middle school loved having the high school girls! We have had 40+ girls with new faces each day the last 2 days!

Tryouts tomorrow after school at the middle school until 5!!

Volleyball open gym for all 5-8 graders
1/14 and 1/15 after school until 5 pm at the middle school. Tryouts 1/16 after school until 5pm . Excited to get things going!!
