The Drifters were at home in Morehead today for the Derby Classic hosted by the Morehead Meteors. Pool play went a little rough, but they found their fire to compete in bracket play! The bats came alive and the defense was there to back up the hot bats. Keep working hard girls!!

The Drifters traveled to Stanford, KY on Saturday to play in the Knock the Rust Off Classic, and they definitely knocked some rust off and started to come out of their shell.

They took some knocks in pool play, but the bats came alive in bracket play. Pitching looked great all day, and defensively they were sharp! The pieces are falling into place, and the sky is the limit. Keep working hard girls!!

The Drifters traveled to Ravenna yesterday to play in the Mushroom Mania tournament hosted by the KY Flames. It was a day of ups and downs, but a good one to kick off the season! They took a couple of lumps, but know where to focus their practice energy to prepare for the next one! Keep working hard girls, it’s paying off!!
