Today was our debut at home and on the field, and these girls battled. 💪🏼🥎

We had some AMAZING plays, including TWO double plays worth mentioning, along with multiple “WOW, did you see that?!” moments that reminded us exactly what this group is capable of.

Did we come up short today? Absolutely.

But we aren’t asking, “What did we do wrong?”

We’re asking:

“How can we improve?”

And we will. 💪🏼

Every mistake is a lesson. Every tough inning is an opportunity. Every game gives us something to build on.

Today was just the beginning of this chapter, and we promise you…

BIG things are coming for this group of girls. 🔥

Today’s the day, Drifters! 🥎🔥 Our girls are taking the field for the first time as the Morehead Diamond Drifters 12U!

No amount of lost uniforms, cranky teenagers, or the classic “MOM, WHERE’S MY GLOVE?!” can keep us down today. 😂

Today is about these girls, this team, and the beginning of something special. Come out, cheer loud, and celebrate our girls as they make their Diamond Debut! 💙💛
