MBMC Racing

MBMC Racing Maclan is a passionate young race car driver with his eyes set on greatness. Racing is more than a sport for Maclan — it is a platform for growth.

Competing in the high-octane world of asphalt quarter midget racing through the NASCAR Youth Series, he races with courage, determination, and an unshakable faith in God's plan. MBMC Racing – Fueled by Faith, Family, and the Love of the Race

MBMC Racing was founded as a family-owned and operated youth quarter midget race team, built on a shared love of motorsports and a deep commitment to faith a

nd family. Competing in the NASCAR Youth Series at local, regional, and national levels, our mission is to support and uplift our 7-year-old son, Maclan, as he chases his God-given passion for racing. Maclan is no ordinary kid—he’s a bold, bright, and faith-filled young driver taking on the exciting world of asphalt quarter midget racing. At just 7 years old, he is already showing the heart of a champion and the humility of a servant leader. His greatest love, aside from the thrill of the track, is his family — especially his younger sister, who is his biggest fan and constant source of encouragement. As a first grader in Mooresville, North Carolina — America’s racing capital — Maclan is not only immersed in the fast-paced world of motorsports, but also grounded in a life centered on values that matter. He leads with kindness, builds friendships with ease, and treats others with respect—shining the light of Christ through every interaction. Whether he's on the track or in the classroom, Maclan’s joyful spirit and magnetic personality make a lasting impact on everyone he meets. He's learning the science, technology, and mechanics behind the cars he drives. He’s developing razor-sharp focus, quick reflexes, and the discipline of a true competitor. But most importantly, he’s growing in character — learning the core principles of respect, integrity, responsibility, passion, and humility. This sport has given Maclan the incredible gift of community: friendships that span the country and a diverse support system that reflects the beauty of God’s creation. We feel truly blessed by the Lord to walk this journey with Maclan. It’s our prayer that through racing, he continues to grow not only in skill, but also in faith, wisdom, and love. We believe this path is part of God’s bigger plan for his life, and we’re honored to support him every step of the way. Wherever the road leads, we know God is already there, paving the way. Join us as we cheer on Maclan, celebrate his victories — on and off the track — and give thanks for the incredible journey ahead!

The Dixie Shootout Series at New Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association could have been better, but one of the best parts was making new racing friends from Mom and Dad's old Rhode Island stomping grounds!

The good news? We do not have to wait long to do it again. Just two more weeks until NASCAR Youth Series at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Cara Madison Racing! The countdown is officially on, and we are ready to bring the energy. 🏁🔥🏆🇺🇸

🏁 IT'S RACE DAY IN NORTH CAROLINA! 🏁

After nearly a month of racing on the road, Maclan is finally back home and ready to hit the track at North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) Speedway for Summer Series Race #1.

The past few weeks have taken us from Michigan to Florida and plenty of places in between, but there is something special about racing under the lights at your home track.

Tonight kicks off a busy stretch with four races over the next two weeks before we pack up and head to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the crown jewel event of the NASCAR Youth Series season.

The cars are ready. The team is ready. Mac is ready.

Now it is time to see what we can do when the green flag flies.

Will you be watching tonight? Let us know in the comments where you will be tuning in from! 👇

You can catch all of the action live on the NCQMA Facebook and YouTube channels.

Let's go racing! 🏁🔥

✨ Worship Wednesday ✨

Life often feels like it is moving at full speed. Between work, family, commitments, and chasing goals, it can be easy to believe that we always need to be doing more, pushing harder, or finding the next answer on our own.

📖 "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" — Psalm 46:10

What stands out to our family about this verse is that God does not first call us to strive. He calls us to be still.

Being still does not mean giving up. It means pausing long enough to remember who is truly in control. It means trusting God even when we do not have all the answers. It means finding peace in His presence rather than in our circumstances.

No matter what challenge you may be facing this week, know that God is greater than the obstacle in front of you. When the world feels loud, He invites us to draw near, be still, and place our trust in Him.

💭 We invite you to pause and reflect this week:

• What is one area of my life where I need to stop striving and start trusting God?

• What distractions are keeping me from spending quiet time with Him?

• How can I intentionally create space this week to listen for God's direction?

🙏 This week we encourage you to pray with us:

Heavenly Father, thank You for being our refuge and strength. In a world that constantly demands our attention, help us slow down and remember that You are God. Teach us to trust You more deeply, rest in Your promises, and seek Your presence above all else. Guide our steps this week and give us peace that can only come from You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We invite you to join us this week in taking a few moments each day to be still, spend time with God, and trust Him with whatever lies ahead.

🏁 Dixie Shootout Series Race #4 Recap 🏁

This weekend, Maclan headed south to tackle Dixie Shootout Series Race #4 at New Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association. To put it simply...it was a challenging weekend.

From the moment we unloaded, we fought to find the balance we needed. Track conditions changed throughout the weekend, and despite making adjustments every chance we got, we never quite found the setup that allowed Mac to be comfortable and attack the racetrack the way he wanted to.

Sometimes racing rewards you. Sometimes it teaches you.

This weekend was definitely about the lessons.

🏎️ Junior Honda

The Junior Honda field was stacked with talented racers, and unfortunately our qualifying effort left us digging ourselves a hole early. A tight race car in the Heat Race made it difficult for Mac to move forward, putting us in the B Main.

We swung for the fences with setup changes before the B Main, but this time the pendulum swung too far the other direction. The car became extremely loose, making it difficult to gain any ground, and Mac was unable to secure a transfer spot into the A Main.

🏎️ Junior 160

The 160 showed a little more promise early on, but we were still fighting a tight race car throughout the Heat Race. Mac did a great job managing what he had and earned a 7th-place starting spot in the A Main against a talented field of 11 drivers.

For much of the race he battled in the middle of the pack, but as the laps clicked off the car tightened up once again. Without the ability to rotate through the corners, it became difficult to keep pace with the front runners, and Mac ultimately brought home a 7th-place finish.

Not the results we were hoping for, but weekends like this are part of racing.

The reality is that growth does not always happen when things go right. Sometimes it comes from the weekends where you have to work through adversity, learn from mistakes, and figure out how to come back stronger next time.

And despite the struggles, there was still plenty to smile about.

We spent time with friends from all over the country, shared a lot of laughs, witnessed some wild moments both on and off the track, and wrapped up the weekend celebrating our buddy Nash Greenfield Racing10th birthday with cake and good company.

Now it is time to get back to work.

After nearly a month away from home, Mac is excited to get back behind the wheel at North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) this week for Summer Series Race #1 on Thursday night and Championship Series Race #6 on Saturday.

The race schedule does not slow down, and neither does this kid.

On to the next one. 👊🏁

🏁 RACE DAY IN NEW SMYRNA! 🏁

Another weekend. Another opportunity.

Today Maclan takes on Dixie Shootout Series Race #4 at New Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association as he continues a busy summer stretch of racing across the Southeast and beyond!

From Salisbury to Kalamazoo and now New Smyrna, this season has been filled with new tracks, new competitors, new lessons, and countless memories. Every lap, every race, and every weekend adds another piece to the journey.

The goal remains the same every time we unload: learn, improve, compete with excellence, and make the most of every opportunity we are given.

Mac is excited to get back on track today in sunny Florida and see what the day has in store for his MBMC Racing team.

💬 If you were giving a young racer one piece of advice before today's races, what would it be? Drop it in the comments below. We would love to hear it.

🙏 Thank you to everyone who supports, encourages, follows along, and prays for our team. We appreciate each and every one of you.

Let's go racing!
