We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, kindness, and support from our community during this difficult time.

Thanks to the cooperation and flexibility of Keyser High School, our game officials, and volunteer athletic training staff, we are able to move our Homecoming football game to Saturday, October 24, at noon.

This adjustment not only provides our student-athletes with much-needed recovery time following Monday evening’s game, but also gives our school family additional time to come together, support one another, and navigate this difficult time.

Our Homecoming Dance will still take place Saturday evening at 7:00 PM.

We sincerely appreciate the compassion, understanding, and generosity shown to our students, staff, and families. During challenging times, we are reminded that the strength of our school extends far beyond the walls of MHS.

Once a Yellow Jacket, Always a Yellow Jacket. 💙💛 #44

Our football game has been rescheduled for Monday, October 19, at 7:00 PM.

As we come together under the lights on Monday evening, we will do so with heavy hearts, honoring and remembering #44, our beloved trainer, Jacob Metheny. 💙

We are grateful for the love, compassion, and support shown throughout our school family during this difficult time.

Some things are bigger than football. Family is forever. 💙💛

A moment we’ll cherish forever. His words, his pride, and his love for this program mean more than ever today. He was more than a coach; he was a dad, a mentor, and a part of our football family. Our hearts are with Edison and his family. Jake's impact on this program will never be forgotten. Once a Yellow Jacket, always a Yellow Jacket. 💙💛🏈 #44
