A big thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored, registered, and volunteered for our recent event! I want to express my gratitude to the entire community. If I try to name each person, I might miss someone, and that wouldn’t be fair. Organizing an event involves many steps. It all begins with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which helps support our cause. We also need to get the Green permit and make sure Montrose Borough gives its approval. In addition, we have to apply through PennDOT in Dunmore to ensure everything is safe and in order, and through United Fire Co.
Our 5K participants are truly the MVPs! Thank you so much for your support and for being part of this event. A big shout-out goes to our core planning group, whose hard work made everything possible, Paula Catlin, Diedre Mack Tunilo, Jill Swingle, Jennifer Lyn, Albert Johnson, Kris Myers Loomis. We also want to thank Kate Spence for stepping up as our run director. She did a fabulous job and showed amazing organizational skills! We appreciate everyone who joined us and contributed to making this event successful. You all made a difference!

We're just days away from our upcoming Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk!
If you're able to pick up your packet prior to race day, we will be having our packet pick up on Wednesday, September 9 from 4-6 PM at Montrose Green - Corner of Maple St & Lake Ave, Montrose, PA 18801.
If you're not able to pick it up prior, you can pick it up as early as 7:00 AM on Saturday, September 12 at Montrose Green - Corner of Maple St & Lake Ave, Montrose, PA 18801.

Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Montrose, PA Packet pick-up will take place on September 9 at The Green from 4-6 PM. If you happen to procrastinate, you can register on the day of the run, September 12th, starting at 7 AM at The Green. We will have real T2T directional signs along the race route. Please ignore any markings from the previous 5K in Montrose on the pavement.
You can find parking on Public Ave. Behind the Susquehanna County Office (81 Public Ave). It's also available across from the Historical Society on Maple St. Additionally, there's parking behind the Keeler 1812 Tavern on South Main St. The water station will be situated at the intersection of Lake Ave and Prospect St. For questions, contact Kate Spencee, Jill Swingle, Catlin, Diedre Mack Tunilo, Jennifer Lyn, Albert Johnson, or Debbie Crisman.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11, a moment in our nation’s history that we will never forget. The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Montrose, PA is more than just a race—it’s a mission to ensure the events of that day are remembered and that the heroes who gave their lives are always honored. When you run or walk, you will wear a badge displaying the photo and name of the first responder who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. We walk in their honor.
We run in their memory.
So that we will Never Forget.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s mission continues every every day—supporting fallen and injured first responders, Gold Star families, and catastrophically injured veterans. Our local Montrose event proudly raises funds to help carry out that mission while remembering and honoring those we lost on 9/11.
