MONTICELLO — Glow Fest returns Saturday, Feb. 28, bringing a lantern parade, fire dance, projection art and a winter celebration that transforms downtown Monticello into a ribbon of moving light.

Are you excited?! Because we are practically glowing already. ✨ Lanterns are ready. Lights are prepped. Winter is about to meet its sparkle.

So… How do you Glow?

🌟 1. Get Your Lantern
Meet us at the Monticello Community Center between 6:00–6:30 PM on Saturday, Feb 28.
Pick out a community lantern or bring your own glowing creation!

🚶‍♀️ 2. Join the Parade
The parade leaves the MCC at 7:00 PM sharp, heading down Walnut Street to West Bridge Park.
Walk with us and be part of the river of light!

👀 OR Glow from the Sidelines!
Another great way to Glow is to watch the parade along Walnut Street, cheer on the lantern carriers, and then meet us at West Bridge Park to join the party.

🎉 3. Glow Party at the Park
From 7:00–9:00 PM, the celebration continues at West Bridge Park with music, art, and illuminated fun.

🎧 DJ Josh Johnson from Soulful Sounder will be our Master of Ceremonies, keeping the energy high and announcing what’s happening throughout the night.

Bundle up. Bring your people. Choose your glow-adventure. 💡

🏮 LAST LANTERN WORKSHOP — TONIGHT! 🏮

It’s your final chance to get glowing before GlowFest!

Join us TONIGHT — Tuesday, 2/24 | 6–8 PM for our last lantern workshop leading up to the big event.

We’ll be creating alongside incredible visiting artists from In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre (HOTB) — the lantern legends themselves!

No experience needed — just bring your creativity and we’ll help you light it up. ✨

Let’s finish strong and get ready to GLOW this weekend!

🧌 Family Light-Up Troll Hat Workshop
THIS WEEKEND we’re going FULL GLOWFEST FUN and making light-up Troll Hats for you to wear at the parade!

This is a family event- parents must attend with children to help make lanterns hats

Join us Saturday, Feb 28th from 6–9 PM for a magical evening of light, art, and winter celebration in Monticello!

Parade lineup begins at 6 PM outside the Monticello Community Center.
We step off at 7 PM sharp, glowing our way to West Bridge Park where the party begins!
