8U: Age 8 or younger on date of 5/1/2027 OR must be in 2nd grade for the 2026-2027 school year

9U: Age 9 or younger on date of 5/1/2027 OR must be in 3rd grade for the 2026-2027 school year

10U: Age 10 or younger on date of 5/1/2027 OR must be in 4th grade for the 2026-2027 school year

*Teams may or may not form depending on how many kids try out, team makeup, coach availability, etc.

Tournament day got crazy and we forgot to get pictures of Layne and Bro with their game ball and Monster Slugger after the semi final game, so these will have to work. 🤣 Layne had a big time catch in the outfield, and Bro had 4 RBIs and ended the game with a walk-off home run. Way to go, boys!! 🦎

What. A. Season!

These boys battled til the end today. First pool play game was at 9am, and we made it to the championship game at 7pm. Unfortunately it was not the outcome we wanted, however we couldn’t be more proud of these little monsters for bringing home runner-up! Finished the season winning 13 of the last 16 games and have drastically improved over the last 7 months.

The future for Wayne County baseball looks bright! Go Lake Monsters! 🦎

Last 8U practice of the season. 😭 Hate to see it end! This group has been so much fun.

Team Boomers vs Team Bananas at tonight’s scrimmage. Letting the boys get some kid pitch practice and a bunch of fun in before heading into our last tournament of the season tomorrow. Let’s go Lake Monsters! 🦎

Team Bombers (Clay, Noah, Austin, and Jackson) vs Team Broken Toe (Sammy, Ryker, Rhett, and Bro) in tonight’s line-drive game at practice ⚾️

We played 2 games and both teams lost by 1 each time, so it was technically a tie. We had fun! It’s a no-tournament weekend for us, but we’re gearing up for our last tournament of the season next weekend. Go Monsters! 🦎
