Northeast Alabama Community College Athletics softball is the 2026 NJCAA Division I World Series champion!!

Congratulations to the Mustangs on a fantastic season in only their second season in the program’s history! They went undefeated in the national tournament!

It’s the 10th ACCC team or individual national champion during the 2025-2026 academic year!!

Northeast Alabama Community College is the second ACCC program to ever win a NJCAA softball national championship!

Mustangs are headed to the championship game tomorrow at 2pm at Signature Field at Choccolocco Park in Oxford. Let’s see those stands full of Mustangs fans one more time!!

Northeast Alabama Community College Athletics softball is two wins away from a national championship!!

A five-run sixth inning by the Mustangs broke a 4-all tie, propelling them to a 9-4 victory over Paris Junior College this morning in the NJCAA Division I World Series!

In the sixth, Austin McNeece's pinch-hit, three-run double was the tie-breaking hit. Chloe Hatch added an RBI triple and Kiley Weston an RBI single.

The 3rd-seeded Mustangs advance to the semifinal round on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. against top-seeded Florida SouthWestern State College!

Come out to Choccolocco Park in Oxford to support Northeast Alabama Community College!

The bats came alive late today, and the Mustangs surged past the Paris JC Dragons 9-4! NACC remains undefeated in the NJCAA DI World Series!

After wrapping up the program’s inaugural season just a year ago, the Mustangs have surged to the national spotlight in Year 2 under head coach Joe Guthrie.

Northeast Alabama Community College Athletics softball continues to march on at the NJCAA Division I Softball World Series, squeaking out a 4-3 victory over Odessa College in the winner's bracket!

After a lengthy rain delay, Chloe Hatch had the eventual game-winning sacrifice fly for the Mustangs in the bottom of the sixth, and Addison Edwards capped off a complete game on the mound, recording 11 strikeouts.

Northeast Alabama Community College continues play against either Paris Junior College or Northwest Florida State College on Friday morning.

After a rain delay and venue change, NACC tops Odessa 4-3 and remains in the winners’ bracket! The Mustangs will no longer play later tonight, with their next game in the NJCAA World Series scheduled for Friday (TBA).

Due to inclement weather and field conditions, NACC’s in-progress game vs. Odessa will be completed at Jacksonville State University at 3:30 p.m.

*Winner of this game will play at Oxford’s Signature Field at 9:45 p.m.
*Loser of this game will play at JSU at 6:15 p.m.
