MOCO Middle School Football

09/03/2026

We will regroup on this for next week, but for the remainder of this week, practice will end at 5:30.

Today we can have pickup at the fieldhouse but with the home football game tomorrow Friday 9/4, pickup will need to happen in front of the MS gym/ cafeteria as the back of the HS will be closed off to cars.

All players must be picked up by their adult/ cannot just stay on campus until the game Friday night as there will not be supervision provided for them between practice and the game starting at 7:30. All players are supposed to attend the high school games with an adult.

We are going to be in the same boat as yesterday with the temps outside.

We will be a mix of inside and outside for practice today 9/2, with pickup at 5:30 at the field house due to the limitations of the temps outdoors.

Due to the high temperatures, we will be indoors for a large portion of practice today 9/1. We will be done by 5:30, pickup still at the fieldhouse.

Players and parents:

Due to forecasted high temperatures this week, please be prepared with inside shoes as well as clothing for going non fully padded for practices this week.

We will monitor the weather situation and share out information as soon as possible daily. At this point, practice will still operate the same timeframe each day, but we may have to change where practice is occurring on campus, or what level of equipment we will be wearing.

One week till our first game of the season. We will be playing Bowling Green on Tuesday September 8th. At this point the plan is a full “A” game, followed by at least 2 “B” team quarters so we have ample opportunity to get all players on the field!

Practice will be done at 5:30, and pickup needs to happen in front of the MS gymnasium as the back of the school will be closed off for the game!

Due to the high school softball jamboree, pick up after practice will need to be over by the middle school gym. Drop off before practice should operate as normal but pick up will need to be by the middle school gym

Friendly reminder that we are not having practice tonight, 8/19, due to the MS open house. I would like to see all the players come in for open house if at all possible to make sure we are prepared for school starting next Tuesday!

We will open the fieldhouse on Thursday at 3:30 to get shoulder pads on any athletes who do not have them yet prior to practice starting at 4:00 PM
