Friend’s, parents and wrestlers.
Our next fund-raiser is right around the corner. We need volunteers to help sell sodas and water at the City of Monterey’s 4th of July Backyard Barbecue. We have two shifts from 8:00-1:00am and 1:00-6:00pm. This is always a perfect way to support the team and spend a beautiful day with family and friends on Independence Day.
We typically rely on you, the wrestling community to lend a hand by donating no more than $50 worth towards bottled soda and water or you can donate cash. Remember all funds raised come right back to the team. The team and coaches highly appreciate any donation you can make. A huge thank you to the Dads who helped move mats into the room. Luke, Cooper and Sava from the kids club. Julian and Taras. Mr Lopez. Thanks Joseph Lopez for helping toss out the trash. Nice work. This is what we got. Unfortunately due to the chemical smell lingering in the room we are GONNA CANCEL KIDS CLUB THIS TUESDAY AND THURSDAY (6/23 & 6/25) to allow the smell to dissipate. Dear Parents and wrestlers,

Our next fund-raiser that the wrestling team does every year involves selling soda and water at the City of Monterey's 4* of July Back Yard Barbecue. I have been unsuccessful in soliciting commercial donations for soda and water for our upcoming fund-raiser. Therefore, I am asking each wrestler's family to contribute $50.00 dollars towards bottled soda and water or you can buy 16.9 oz bottles of soda and water. They will only allow certain brands of soda to be sold at the Back Yard Barbecue (Coke, Diet Coke, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sunkist orange, Sprite, 7-Up, A& W Root beer). We will also need help selling. I have two shifts from 8:00-1:00 am and 1:00-6:00 pm.
