So very Proud !!!

Last week we proudly celebrated our varsity competition cheerleaders for another outstanding season at our February school board meeting. 📣🐝

Under the leadership of Head Coach Tiffany Traud in her first year and Assistant Coach Shannon Kelly, this group of student-athletes left it all on the mat from start to finish.

After placing first in their very first competition of the season, they could have gotten comfortable. Instead, they kept their heads down, continued building new skills and never stopped fine tuning their routine.

Their hard work paid off in a big way:
• First place in the Division II Game Day Building Category at the OHSCCA Best in State Competition
• 2026 SWBL Game Day Building Champions
• 2026 SWBL Game Day Grand Champions
• Earned a bid to nationals in Florida.

All while balancing sideline teams, a demanding practice schedule and their academic commitments, with several earning 4.0 GPAs.

Thank you to our athletes, coaches and volunteers for representing Hornet Country with passion and pride all season long. Ask us “Are you proud to be a Hornet?” and the answer will always be “YES. WE. ARE.” 📣🏆🐢

Now that season is over !!! I would love to share our routine that has given us the opportunity to bring home not 1 Championship but 3 Championships!!
