2 weeks ago, we had the pleasure of showcasing the car with some other awesome drivers at the Kendall Ford of Marysville's grand opening! This also served as a big thank-you since Kendall Ford helped us and other Skagit drivers make the trip down to Cottage Grove for their Freedom Cup earlier this season.

It was very cool to be a part of, and I appreciated the attendees being curious and asking questions! Thank you again, Kendall Ford, for your support this season!

305 Nationals Pt 2: Sat + Sun Portion 8/30-8/31/25

Didn't end up doing great for Saturdays portion, then on Sundays portion, the car was running low rpms for a really hooked up track and wouldn't take off as it should so we didn't make it out of the D main. The A Main rained out and was postponed till next year.

We learned a lot from Eagle Raceway and the drivers there. Nationals was no joke. Lots of the drivers we raced against regularly drive 360s or 410s and sometimes race several days in a week over there. The Racesaver 305 motors were very close, and it really showed who could hit their marks every lap, make good decisions, and be smooth and confident.

Though we didn't move up much, Nationals was an incredible experience. It was the best racing I've ever been involved in, even in the lower mains. The track was great, and the prep crew could strategically rework it several times in one night and produce racing on the entire track.

The track management and officials also need to be recognized for doing their absolute best to keep the show going. We were able to get two nights of racing into one, and almost, almost, got the final 3-wide A Main in Saturday that was originally scheduled for Sunday. The weather was unfortunate, but they tried their hardest.

Everyone was also very hospitable and welcoming, and we enjoyed the after-party on Friday! We're very fortunate to have been able to attend the 2025 305 Racesaver Nationals. Thank you for having us, Eagle!

If you have Sunday's tickets, they can be used for this show. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth the day of the event.
8:30AM: Breakfast Opens
8:30AM: Driver Checkin
9AM: Pit Ticket Booth Opens
10AM: Grandstands Open
10-11AM: Car Show in the Courtyard
11AM: Plan to start racing. Last Chance Features & 3 Wide MAIN EVENT!

305 Nationals Update Friday Portion 8/29/25

Thursday practice went okay. Figured out what the car liked and didn't like with this track.

No hot laps or qualifying, straight into heats.
Started 6 finished 7th (Heat #2). Needed to be more aggressive

D Main #2 started 8th finished 8th. Car felt great and had lots of power. Made a bad decision to hit the bottom last corner behind a car that got sideways and slowed down, lost a few spots there.

The track and other drivers are very competitive and the track has grooves on the top, bottom, and middle.

For Saturdays Portion (also tonight) we start 1st in heat #9

Mother Nature is trying to throw us a curveball, but the show WILL go on at Eagle Raceway! 🌧️🏁
To make sure we crown a champion, the schedule has been adjusted:
📅 Friday, August 29th - TWO Events in One Day!
• Friday Portion starts at 3PM
• After that wraps up, the Saturday Portion will be run the SAME DAY! (including Hobby Stocks & the Race of Champions!)
📅 Saturday, August 30th - Championship Night
• Sunday’s portion has been moved up to Saturday.
• SportMods will be the support class.
• Start times are TBD, so keep an eye out for announcements.
👉 Tickets you’ve already purchased are still valid for their respective “portion” of the event.
This means even with the weather, fans still get ALL the action, just packed into an exciting Friday + Saturday showdown!

Qualified 3rd

A Main 6th to 4th

Finally got the popping figured out! The car felt like a rocket in 1&2, but I struggled a bit in 3&4. We had made it up to 3rd but lost it to a caution. It would've been nice to see what we could do with all our laps, but we only got about 13 laps down before it was called.

We struggled with the fuel system most of the night, but also had the opportunity to try some new setup stuff thanks to Travis. The car felt really good the whole night, and if we weren't bogging down and popping a bunch, we probably would've been pretty fast in the main.
