It's election day... You have all day to get that ballot from your desk to a mailbox or the drop box at Monroe Library.

A big THANK YOU to those who voted for me, supported me, prayed for me, encouraged me, stuck up for me, and engaged in meaningful discussion :). Thank you Police and Fire Guild, Everett Herald Editorial Board, Teamsters, and others who endorsed and made phone calls for me. Thanks to Tim Tuttle for the pep talks and listening to my City Council after-meeting-downloads and to both my kids who put up with the many hours I have spent answering people's questions from email to the phone to the check out line to the sidewalk on Main Street. (And my 9-at-the-time-year-old Rylee Tuttle, for taking my campaign picture!) And thanks to the candidate running against me for engaging in a clean and kind campaign.

I was also endorsed by the Police Guild but I received a phone call about that and am not seeing it in the paper anywhere. The interview was with fire fighters and police so I'm not sure if there is also a firefighter endorsement.
