Please see this post regarding the Coach Turnbaugh Scholarship.

As announced at Coach Turnbaugh's farewell celebration last November, a scholarship has been created in his honor. The inaugural Coach Steve Turnbaugh Scholarship will be awarded at the Graduation Awards Ceremony on May 29th. This award will honor Coach's contributions to the Hereford community and the positive influence he has had on thousands of young men and women through his teaching, display of hard work, enthusiasm and never give up attitude. The Scholarship is open to any graduating senior who has actively participated in any capacity in the Hereford Varsity Football program, either as a player, manager, or other supporting role. The Hereford Gridiron Fund has been established to facilitate this award. If you would like to contribute to the fund in support of the scholarship, please message either Jeremy Riddle or Andrew Miller for further details. A huge shout out to Cathy Brown (and all the other moms to helped as well) for making last night such a memorable one for my dad!! And thank you to all of those who came to be apart of the celebration. He was completely touched, moved, and surprised by it all! Not many, if any, have seen him cry and that just goes to show how much this program means to him. So again, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE IT SUCH A SPECIAL NIGHT TO HIM!!

Hi All...many have said they may not make it on time for the 5:30 gathering because of work. No worries. We will be calling all Alumni to the field at halftime for a presventation to Coach and to welcome the team back to the field to do a presentation. And we asked Casa Mias (the new Pioneer Pub) to keep their kitchen open late for after our final presentations in the cafeteria. Let's go party!

Hi all!!! We hope everyone has the date of Nov 1 still on the calendar. I have been asked to put together a scrap/memory book of all the memories and pictures that have been sent in to Mrs. Cathy Brown. If you want to send something in, please do so ASAP, as we want to have plenty of time to put the book together. We are asking that you please spread the word to anyone who had/has my dad as a coach, teacher, or whatever it may be to share a memory. I know he will be beyond thrilled to see everyone (even if it is after the game; we all know how he is pre-games!) and will feel extremely honored to read all the wonderful stories that are being shared! You can either post your memory/story to this link (it is private, so only myself and Mrs. Cathy can read them) or you can send them to my email: [email protected] or to Mrs. Cathy: [email protected] . We really appreciate everyone who is willing to help in anyway and really look forward to seeing everyone on Nov 1st!!! Thank you!
