🌊 A BIG thank you to our Day of Caring volunteers! 💙

Today, we were grateful to welcome teams from John Deere Harvester and Paragon Interiors as part of United Way’s Day of Caring!

These amazing volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help us get the Boathouse cleaned up and remove scrub trees along the riverbanks. Their hard work is helping make the area look its best and preparing the site for the upcoming Sprint the Miss Regatta on September 19. 🚤🏁

We’re incredibly thankful for the time, energy, and community spirit these volunteers brought to the river today. Your work makes a difference! 👏

💃✨ Let’s Dance! ✨🩰

Our dance programs at the YMCA are designed to help young dancers discover the joy of movement, build confidence, and find the styles they love!

🌟 Dance 1 & 2
This introductory class teaches the fundamentals of movement—including locomotor and non-locomotor movements, different levels, coordination, and creativity. Each week, dancers will explore a little bit of a different dance style, giving them the opportunity to discover what they enjoy as they grow!

🩰 Beginner Ballet
Dancers will be introduced to basic ballet steps and positions through a structured curriculum that builds strong foundations. We’ll work on posture, body alignment, coordination, and technique while still incorporating plenty of play and fun!

Whether they’re taking their first steps into dance or beginning to explore ballet, there’s a place for every young dancer at the YMCA! 💕

We just want to remind our Riverside Riverslide patrons that this is our LAST big SPLASH this weekend! We will be closing the doors on our 2026 season at 6:00pm on Monday, Sept 7.

So come on out, take a ride down a slide, and cool off in this late summer heat! See you there!

⚽ Fall Soccer Is Coming to the Two Rivers YMCA! 🍂

We’re excited to partner with Quad Cities Rush to offer recreational soccer leagues for ages 4–14!

Whether your child is brand new to soccer or looking to build on their skills, this league is a great way to learn the fundamentals, build confidence, and develop teamwork—all while having fun! 🙌

⚽ Ages: 4–14
🏆 Games: Saturday mornings
📍 Games played at: Green Valley Soccer Complex
👕 Uniform included with registration
🤝 Parents: Volunteer coaches are encouraged!

Practice days and times will vary by team. Families will receive an email with their team’s exact practice schedule before the season begins.
