Bi-States Community Tennis Association hosted the Quad States Open tennis tournament this week at Bettendorf High School. This was a USTA Level 6 tournament with 44 players competing.

In round robin competition, the G16 division was won by Taedyn Cewe of Camanche, IA, the B12 division champion was Collin Feehan of Bettendorf, IA, B14 division was won by Suhaas Pallamreddy of Bettendorf, IA and B16 division winner was Carter Feehan of Bettendorf, IA.

The G18 division champion was Calla Graham of Moline with a 6-3, 6-0 final over Elizabeth Grinnell of Clinton, IA.

The B18 division winner was Henry Moran of Davenport, IA. Henry defeated Aron Rivera of Rock Falls, IL 6-3, 6-2 in the final.

G18 doubles were won by Pearly Ciss of Moline, IL and Lea Patrick of Coal Valley, IL over Grace Hall of Bettendorf, IA and Kelsey Kountze of Riverdale, IA 8-0 in the final.

B18 doubles champions were Henry Moran and Aron Rivera over Lucas Kukhar of Bettendorf, IA and Carter Feehan 8-4 in the final.

QCTC player Amira Elnimari of East Moline, IL won the G16 division in the USTA Level 6 Baird Iowa Open tennis tournament over the weekend in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Amira defeated Kelsey Weiss of Marion, IA 6-0, 6-1 in the final.

The grass courts are officially OPEN! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the grand opening yesterday. These THREE courts are one of only a few grass courts in the nation, and we're proud to bring this experience to the QC.

And thank you to the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, the City of Moline Government, and the Quad Cities Tennis Foundation (qctennisfoundation.org) for helping make this event a success.
