What a fun day!
We were honored to showcase all of our Fall 2025 teams on Sunday at our Fall Season Celebration at the Pine Tree Shelter at Wingfoot Lake State Park.

We are very proud of all of our players and teams for all of their hard work.

A very special THANK YOU to FYS Events Coordinator Angie Schumacher for helping pull everything together for the event. Once again, she did an amazing job setting up an amazing day!

Also, thank you to all of the FYS board members for their help, including Kristin Yoho for helping emcee, and all of the families who arrived early to help with set up and stayed late to help with clean up.

Congratulations to everyone! Enjoy the off-season, and we look forward to the Spring 2026 season (registration will open on Jan. 1, if you want to mark your calendars!)

The Fall 2025 season is officially over.
We hope that everyone enjoyed it!

The organization would like to publicly and sincerely thank all of our amazing coaches for helping deliver another great season for FYS.

We know how much time our coaches voluntarily dedicate to the teams, families and organization. Practices, games, planning, communicating, coordinating and everything in between.
Simply put, we could never do it without you!

We appreciate everything big and small thing you do to help make it a great experience for our Soccer Family!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

We also need to make sure we also recognize and thank our reliable group of referees: Tyler Doubrava, Peyton Schock, Zoe Kramer, Audrey Richmond, Brooklyn Wilson, and the occasional coach/parent who needed to step in unexpectedly on the fly.
We appreciate you!

Our one final scheduled event for the fall is our Fall Season Celebration on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wingfoot Lake State Park. All teams will be recognized, and we will have inflatables, games, face painting, food truck, etc.
If any parents are available and interested in helping to volunteer with setup and tear down, face painting, etc., please let us know!

The U13 girls travel team finished their fall season on Sunday, playing in a steady downpour from start to finish.

Rain games make memories!
And these girls have always loved to play in the rain.

On Sunday, the Falcons posted a 7-0 victory over Streetsboro at Edson Park, improving the team's record to 11-1-0 on the season that also included a championship at the OHTSL's State Travel Cup earlier this month.

The Falcons jumped out to an early lead on Sunday, with Brinley Allen scoring the game's first three goals, with the first coming within the game's opening minutes.
Sophia Uminski added a fourth goal before halftime.
Then, in the second half, Carly Nader netted a pair of goals and Mila Wilson added another.

Goalkeeper Juliette Synecky earned her fifth clean-sheet shutout of the season, with the defensive line of Eliana Reagan, Chloe Hale and Grace Mondello once again providing great games.

In the midfield, Natalie McCoy, Izzy Confer, Kaitlyn Pickering and Wilson were impressive, while Addy Brown, Uminski, Allen and Nader created opportunities up top.

EK Scherer, Ella Smeiles and Emmie Beegle showed their versatility by playing a variety of positions.

Once again, it was a true team effort for the win, which has become the team's top characteristic.

It was a great game and a great season.
Great job, girls!

The U15 girls travel team completed their fall season on Saturday night with a 2-1 victory over Kent at Kenneth Lohr Stadium.

The Falcons finished the season in second place of their league with a 7-1-0 record.

On Saturday, the Falcons jumped out to a 2-0 lead on a pair of goals by Odessa Hottensmith.

The defense was led by Ryan Roberts, Abigail Stevens and Savannah Hicks, with Gracie Raddish playing solid as goalkeeper.

In the midfield, Ava Murphy, Katelyn Reger, Layla Haynes and Ruby Roberts provided impressive performances.

Overall, it was a great season for the group, and we are very proud of them!

And a special shoutout to youth player Scarlett Puleo coming to be our awesome ball girl!

The U13 girls travel team won their 10th straight game on Wednesday.

The Falcons scored a 4-2 home victory over Stow at Edson Park.

The team jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half on a goal from Sophia Uminski that was assisted by Mila Wilson, which was followed by a goal from Wilson on a direct kick from about 20 yards out.

Early in the second half, the Falcons pushed the lead to 3-0 when Uminski broke down the right sideline and sent a crossing pass in front of the goal that Brinley Allen punched into the back of the net.

Izzy Confer scored the team's fourth goal, lifting a shot over the goalkeeper's head on a shot from 15 yards out.

The Falcons are now 10-1-0 on the season and close out their fall schedule on Sunday at home against Streetsboro.

The U13 rec team coached by Kyle Vanderkaay captured the Portage County Youth League Silver Bracket championship on Sunday.

CONGRATULATIONS!

The Falcons defeated Southeast in the title game — and in thrilling fashion.
After being deadlocked 2-2 at the end of regulation, the teams battled through two overtimes before the outcome of the game was determined by penalty kicks.

In regulation, both of the Falcons' goals were scored by Saud Alharqi, with assists from Hamza and Ethan McClellan.

The Falcons' PKs were netted by Jase Denious, McClellan and the game-deciding goal by Carter Palmer.
Goalkeeper Jack Smith had a pivotal block to help decide the outcome.

Outstanding play was delivered at the striker position by Eliana Grimm and Kinsley Winters, along with great support from Kailyn Myers, Hamza and Lilly Samaco in the midfield. Excellent defense from Brayden Ross, Hayden Sharpes, Gwen Brindle and Lincoln VanderKaay.

Coach Vanderkaay said that this season showed unprecedented improvement from the beginning of the season.
"This was an awesome team that listened, learned and applied the skills we tried to teach. I am proud to have coached each and every one of these kids."

Great job, Falcons!

It was another fun Glow Night practice for the U13 girls travel team!
The annual event has become a team favorite over the years — complete with glow sticks, neon clothes and more! The brighter the better!

Congratulations to the pair of scavenger hunt winning teams: Sophia Uminski/Eliana Reagan/Izzy Confer and Chloe Hale/Grace Mondello/Carly Nader.

The U15 girls travel team improved to 6-1-0 on the season with an 11-0 victory over Tuslaw on Sunday night at Kenneth Lohr Stadium.

The Falcons started the game fast, taking a 4-0 lead within the game's first 10 minutes, with Ava Murphy netting the early hat trick and Tori Miller scoring the other goal to give the team a lead it took into halftime.
Odessa Hottensmith assisted Murphy's first two goals and Keira Schock assisted Murphy's third.

Ruby Roberts, who finished the game with four assists (!), helped set up Miller's first-half goal.

In the second half, Hottensmith and Gracie Raddish had two goals each, while Schock, Abigail Stevens and Claire Miller all had one each.

The group will close out its fall season on Saturday, when it hosts Kent at 6 p.m.

Great game, Falcons!
