It's an honor to work with New England Youth Cycling. We're set to make 2024 the best season yet for everyone in the league.

Someone once told me “Never make your hobby your career.” Good thing helping people live their best lives through riding is my obsessive passion. It’s the first thing I think about in the morning, the last thing at night. Hell, I wake up in the night thinking of ways to improve coaching. Case in point, after two very full weeks of coaching, what did Rachel and I want to do? Go riding, of course!

What a gorgeous evening for a ride. Happy 4th everyone!

This is amazing! Our athlete Cary builds custom longboards at . He built this beautiful, one of a kind, Speed Science board. As beautiful as it looks in pictures, it’s even more stunning in person.

First stage of the in the books. Felt solid with a great second wind (or 3rd or 4th) in the last ten miles, which was very heavy on steep climbs. Ready for more tomorrow!!! Great way to break back into racing after not getting to in 2020.

Always feels good to stick this climb. This kind of stuff makes Moab climbs feel pretty mellow. If you can shred the Northeast, you can shred pretty much anywhere.

Phenomenal last day of our camp in Moab. We had an amazing group flow build and build throughout the day. It was so rewarding to see everything we worked on throughout the camp blossom. Our riders not only rode down the Whole Enchilada, they sessioned the burly features just for fun.

What a great start to the trip. Before our camp starts and coaching begins, I got in a few rides on my own. Slickrock, Amasa Back and Navajo Rocks already. Mag 7 today. I didn't take a ton of pictures, because the landscapes are so big, it's hard to do them justice. This was a very cool spot yesterday at Navajo Rocks.

That smile! That's the one you make when you're LOVING your first proper XC MTB race. I don't know many people who love riding a bike more than Skelly. She's so much fun to work with, and I can't wait to see her keep evolving as a person and an athlete. Not only are we working on her engine, we're building her skills, too. She's becoming a monster - one that smiles a lot, but still a monster.

Zach's been chomping at the bit to get the MTB race season started. He didn't waste any time charging to the front of his first varsity NICA race on Sunday. It was a neck and neck battle literally to the line with a sprint finish that was about as close to a dead heat as you can get. It's pretty awesome to see the level of racing that's going on these days in NICA leagues. This bodes very well for the future of both racing and mountain biking in general. Great job, Zach!
