Unfortunately we will be canceling the tournaments for July 18th and 19th due to not having enough entries to give the wrestlers enough matches….. refunds will be given back……. Please be patient on getting the refunds back as the guy that will be doing them is in Fargo running the tournament….. We are still planning on having the Monster Brawl in November and moving the Open to the day after the monster brawl…. We hope to see you all in November we appreciate the support!

Unfortunately we are looking at canceling the belt series due lack of entries…. We have tried to promote wrestling and give opportunities to better the future of wrestling in South Dakota….. if we have no entries we can’t have a tournament…. We will keep the entries open till the 10th of July if we do not have enough entries we will cancel the Series and leave it at that….

We are closing in on the the first 2 tournaments of the series!!! Each tournament will have a team Champion Belt awarded!! You can have as many people on your team ages from 6u to 50 +….. the champion will be decided by the top 10 wrestlers points!! Get your teams put together and come wrestle for the team championship belts!!!

Ladies and Gentleman the time has come and we are opening registration for the AOW Open and the AOW Show Down a day early the links are live!!! Limited to 500 wrestlers each the first 2 tournaments of the series registration is now live!!! Get registered now!!! We have changed the age to what your age is on12/31/2026!!!

You must wrestle at least 1 match at every tournament to be eligible for the belt and singlet…..

You do not need a USA Card or AAU Card to enter it’s an open tournament…. You will need to bring something to prove age….. Birth certificate recommended…

You have to enter each tournament individually…. If you enter one it does not automatically put you in the other tournament….

Team Belt for Champion Team at each tournament…. Decided by teams top 10 scoring wrestlers!!

UPDATE!!!!! We have a picture posted below of the actual belt you will win!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the time has come!! American Outlaws Wrestling is happy to announce the First Annual AOW Belt Series!! It will be 4 Tournaments in 2 Weekends! The series will be held at the DWU Sports Complex in Mitchell SD. We will kick the series off July 18th with the AOW Open then the following Day July 19th we will have the AOW Showdown. Then on November 14th we will have the AOW Monster Brawl and on November 15th we will wrap the series up with the AOW Last Stand!

The tournament will be 8-man Brackets with True 2nd. Madison Block Bracketing, 8 closest weights in a bracket with weights being within 10 percent of actual weight.

Double Bracketing will be allowed but not in the same age division. If you win all four events you will receive the Belt and Singlet in the pictures below. If you win 4 events in 2 different age groups, you will qualify for 2 Belts and 2 Singlets when double bracketing. If your age changes don't worry... you win 4 events you get the belt and singlet!! 6u - 8u & 10u will be run on half mats. All other divisions will be on full mats. And yes, we will have Divisions for Moms and Dads as well!!! The Divisions will be:

Boys & Girls
6u (6 - Under) (3 - 1.5 Minute Periods)
8u (7-8) (3 - 1.5 Minute Periods)
10u (9 - 10) (3 - 1.5 Minute Periods)
12u (11 - 12) (3 - 1.5 Minute Periods)
14u (13 - 14) (3 - 2 Minute Periods)

Men & Women
High School (9th - 12th Grade) (3 - 2 Minute Periods)
Seniors (19 -29) (3 - 1 Minute Periods- 30 second break between)
Masters (30 - 39) (3 - 1 Minute Periods- 30 second break between)
Grand Masters (40 - 49) (3 - 1 Minute Periods- 30 second break between)
Elite Master (50+) (3 - 1 Minute Periods- 30 second break between)

All Divisions will be AGE DAY OF TOURNAMENT!

There will be no Satellite Weight Ins weight in times will be posted when we get closer to Tournament Time. Everyone will weight in the same place, same scales!

Entry Fees are $60.00 per entry.

Awards: Custom Medals will be given for 1st thru 3rd.
Poker Chips 4th thru 8th

Team Champion Belt Given each tournament to Team with highest points from top 10 scoring wrestlers.

Entries will open May 1st, 2026, On USA Bracketing each tournament will be capped at 500 Wrestlers. Pre-Registration Only / No Walk Ins No Refunds.

AAU or USA card not required.... but can be used for age verification as well as Birth Certificate. Have some form of age verification when you weight in.

American Outlaws Wrestling is proud to announce the First Annual AOW Belt Series!! The Belt Series will be held in Mitchell SD at The DWU Avera Sports & Wellness Complex. We will be having divisions from 6 & under all the way up to Adult Men and Women's weight classes!! We want to bring something new to the Eastern Side of the state that will encompass all age groups to get more people on the mats!! We will have 4 Tournaments in 2 Weekends. July 18th we will kick the series off with the AOW Open then the following day on July 19th we will have the AOW Showdown. Then we will have the next two tournaments in November. November 14th we will have the AOW Monster Brawl and on November 15th we will wrap the series up with the AOW Last Stand! Anyone who wins all 4 Tournaments will receive a BELT & Singlet!!
