I’m so grateful for this life. 2023 has been great. We welcomed our 3rd son, got to rodeo as a family, see amazing places, and make great memories.

I couldn’t be more thankful for the unending support and encouragement from my wife, and the rest of my family.

I couldn’t be more grateful for my wonderful sponsors who support me through all the highs and lows of the rodeo season. My sponsors are all family owned and operated, and just one phone call away if I need anything. That is an incredible feeling.

Thank you to all my friends and supporters out there who are cheering me on and praying for us!

Crackin out tonight for the 1st time in 9 weeks! The family and I have made it to Mitchell, Nebraska for the Champions Challenge Xtreme Roughstock. You can catch it on the Cowboy Channel Plus App at 7:30 PM Mountain Time.

Tomorrow we will be in Sidney, Iowa at Iowa’s Championship Rodeo and then Dodge City, Kansas later this week!

It’s time! 🙏🏻 It has been 7 weeks now since I basically obliterated my finger. I got my stitches removed today from my 2nd surgery. I’m still looking at months for full mobility in my hand, but the doctor expects a full recovery.

🗓️ I am entered up and looking forward to my first rodeo in 2 weeks in Mitchell, Nebraska. All of us will head out as a family to finish the season, Lord willing.

Thank you to everyone for their prayers and support. It means the world to us. Our newest son is 5 weeks old today, and happy and healthy. We have been tremendously blessed during this time, as always. God always provides and His plan is good.

Shout out to Dr. Eric Wroten at the Fort Worth Hand Center for fixing me up for the 2nd time. My finger was shattered, and he did a great job. He did my wrist surgery years ago as well, and is an outstanding surgeon as well person.

I shattered my finger in my free hand mid-ride on May 28th in Bandera, TX. I had surgery last Wednesday June 7th where they put 4 pins in which will have to stay in for 4-5 weeks. I will have another surgery to remove the pins, and then looking at 3+ weeks depending on how well and quickly it’s healing.

This obviously wasn’t MY plan for the summer, but I had been praying to God heavily leading up to this to direct my path and help me decide how to handle rodeo and a newborn this summer. God answered, and certainly has a plan and always provides. Our third son will be born TOMORROW via c-section, and we are so blessed and excited. We could use all your prayers for safety for my wife and baby, and quick, complete healing for all of us. 🙏🏻

Lord willing, we will be back on the rodeo trail late this summer. ☀️
