A triathlon platform for beginners, by a coach who knows the beginner journey.

Having the goal of becoming a triathlete - whether it be just finishing, or becoming a podium finisher - can seem impossible at first. I know exactly how that feels.

I’m afraid of the swim… I don’t own a bike… I only run if someone is chasing me…

I’ve said them all, and other limiting statements. The problem was, there was no clear and simple guidance on how to get started with a triathlon journey.

This is why I’ve created the Extra Life TriFit Platform, to help beginner athletes get started in triathlon and develop a strong foundation of triathlon knowledge and fitness… without the unnecessary complication, frustration, and intimidation.

Through this program, beginner athletes will develop the skills and training necessary to complete a sprint or Olympic distance triathlon in 12 weeks, all through the development of an empowered mindset, easy training, and simple healthy habits.

After a hectic holiday season, I hope you all take some time to rest and recover!

In one week we have an opportunity for new beginnings as we start a new year. Make sure to ease into it and start easy, both in training and in any other goal you may have. When we get excited about starting something new, it’s easy to go full throttle right away. But in order to maintain that discipline and consistency, we have to know when to throttle back.

So, don’t give 110% this year. That’s garbage advice. Give 80%. Take 20% for yourself and your well being. I guarantee you’ll achieve more if you do.

The holidays are my favorite time of year because it gives us a chance to reflect and celebrate on our triumphs in the past year AND look forward at our goals for the coming year.

It took a lot of consistent work, but the process was simple. And I believe everyone has the power to do the same IF theyre willing to put in the same commitment and consistency.

It doesn’t have to be hard.

It doesn’t have to hurt.

You don’t have to hate it.

Just simple, 90% easy swim, bike, and run workouts; straightforward nutrition guidance, and daily empowered mindset training.
