Here’s hoping 2012 is as full of happiness as 2011 was for us.

When selecting music for our end-of-the-year photo montage Mona wanted to pick something released in 2011. My first impulse was a track from Fleet Foxes’ stellar “Helplessness Blues.” The reason? Keep reading...

I fade back for the passing of the bouquet like my favorite Viking Fran Tarkenton, while Mona wonders why she just married such an eccentric! Actually, she laughed, which is why I love her so much! The sonnet I wrote for Mona just weeks before our wedding weekend pretty much explains why I fell so in love with her. Read it in my latest blog post: http://www.suppliedtoanderson.com/?p=719

Got roped into a scavenger hunt again this year for Valentine's Day and all I got were these stupid limericks.

Again this year, Kim Daskas, the fabulous marketing director from The District shopping center in Tustin invited Mona and me to participate in her scavenger hunt for couples. And again, like last year, we finished pretty much in last place. Good thing we were auditing the course — it wasn’t even pas

More than 35 years ago, I first read about how two people defeated a racist system and led the way to fairness for all. The Montgomery Bus Boycotts — good triumphs over evil. As I consider it today, it really is that simple at its core.

It was also a story of how a brave black woman riding the bus home from work got sick and tired of segregation a...

Check out our latest antics!

Last year, Mona and I did our inaugural Halloween vlog as Alice Cooper and, uh, well, we’re still trying to figure out the other character, but you get the idea. Anyway, coming up with an idea last year was much easier. This year, we batted around tons of ideas, but while I could come up with plenty...

Last year, I celebrated the Feast of St. Francis in a special way at the “Blessing of the Waves” at Huntington Beach Pier. This Sunday, I will witness the "blessing" again as Father Christian Mondor and Father Matt Munoz, the grandson of John Wayne, surf some waves. For those who missed my blog from last year, I'm reposting it here, but stay tuned for another after the weekend. I do hope that Mona holds my shoes again if I decide to follow the surfers into the water.

A surfer shows Father Christian Mondor and Father Matt Munoz where they’re going to paddle out at the “Blessing of the Waves” event Sunday at the Huntington Beach pier.
