We’ve been keeping a BIG secret here at RipSnort Racing. 🚨🤫
Back in April we realized that MADMAX #619 was quickly outgrowing the Kayo. He’s been working so hard and improving his technique that overall he needed a better bike. One that could give him the confidence and physical training he needs to keep progressing through motocross. Once we realized we needed to improve the tools at his disposal, we began the hunt.
An opportunity came that we feel like was truly a blessing. We’d found the perfect bike from a well known name and reached out. After a couple weeks of communication and discussing that we may or may not pull this off, we ultimately said that if this happened it was because God wanted it that way. Either this bike was meant for us or it wasn’t.
We’re happy to say that the little infamous bike now belongs to our team! We couldn’t be any more thankful for our sponsors and the support we have behind MADMAX. From the dads and coaches who have seen his potential and approached us to give advice, to the family members who call after every race and practice to see how he did… we are BEYOND grateful for each of you.
It’s been exciting to watch him transition onto a 2-stroke and learn to ride a machine that was always intended for the track. In a very short timeframe he’s again shown us how much he loves this sport and taking on the challenges that come with it.
We took this momentum in BIG strides. We started slow and kicked the bike down to a beginners pace to ease into things and ultimately, Max has his mechanic tuning it right back up just a day later!
We don’t intend to race this bike yet for the summer season but only Max can give us our timeline for that now! He seems determined to master this bike. And all we can say here at RipSnort is GO GET EM’!! 🏁
