People say I didn’t win any trophies? I’ve never seen a single Ballon d’Or winner who met absolutely every criterion.

Has any player ever won the Ballon d’Or unanimously? NO. That means there was always someone who thought that player didn’t deserve it.

Being the all-time top scorer in World Cup history is something that stays in PEOPLE’S MINDS. Being the TOP SCORER in ALL the biggest competitions, where the best players in the world compete — the Champions League, the World Cup… I DON’T KNOW IF ANYONE HAS EVER DONE THAT BEFORE.
