My favorite weekend of the year! We are loaded up and on the way! Minus the racecar unfortunately ; she’s stuck in the garage thanks to the hurricane 🙃

Sounds like a good stinking time!

We are SO EXCITED to be at the pumpkin patch this Saturday!! Come see us and get a beautiful pumpkin & some yummy lunch! Event starts at 10!

We WILL be serving bowls of our delicious Brunswick Stew! And for anyone wanting a quart, we got you! We will make sure everyone gets some. (Worth it!)

We will also be serving the OG sandwiches , loaded mac, & loaded baked taters.

The weather will be beautiful . Come see us.

We just stopped and got some JoeFoes BBQ across from Alyssa’s in pace!!! Seriously yall go grab a plate! The food is delicious and the prices are incredible!

Here are a few pictures of our last couple days. It’s been eventful! Fortunately, we have a camper and a generator. We still do not have power to the house, but I’m not bitching about any of it because I know there are quite a few people very close to our house way worse off than we are.

House is OK minus some roof damage. Have been able to do an insurance claim and we are suppose to have some people tarping the roofs tomorrow. Race shop is missing a good bit of the roof, a side entry door that opens to the inside of the shop was laying in the middle of the backyard(explain that one to me??), and the big roll up door is wadded up.. the”missing” roof panels have been located within a 1/4-1/2 mile radius of the house.. the map photo attached has red dots marked where roof panels were spotted.. I know it’s ours because no one around here has the same faded red/brown color metal. 😬

Got excited Saturday morning when bright lights filled the windows of the house - I was thinking it was power trucks already. Nope.. just the national guard walking down our road.. still not sure how they got to where they were with how the trees were down across the road in both directions, but I assume they just just drove over them 🤷🏻‍♂️

Trampoline is no longer part of the conversation even after tying it down.. Kids big wooden swing set/slide house was laid over, but somehow the plastic play house didn’t move an inch..

The camper moved about a foot and off the concrete blocks.. No damage to it other than one of the leveling jacks are a little bent. The tongue of the trailer was dug into the ground.. Used a floor jack to lift it back up and got a block under the electric jack foot.

Getting back to work already, so maybe we can get some sense or normal in the near future. Waiting on the insurance adjuster. Should be here Wednesday.

Racing in the next couple weeks isn’t looking like something to be planning for at the moment, but we will keep you updated!

🌧️ 𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟵-𝟭𝟬 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗗
Due to Tropical Storm Isaias in the Gulf and its potential impacts on our area, this weekend’s races at Southern Raceway have been canceled. We want our fans, racers, and staff to have time to prepare and focus on their families’ safety.

We are currently exploring potential dates to make up our Season Championship races. However, any rescheduled event will not be a points race. We do not feel it would be fair to extend the points season beyond its originally scheduled end date when drivers may have other plans and obligations that prevent them from attending a makeup event.

We’re disappointed we won’t get to close out the points season together as planned, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding. We’ll share an update on a possible makeup date when we have more information.
