We truly scored big this summer with the incredible volunteer coaches on staff with the Twins! A huge thank you to Dave Duncan, Ty Hoel, and Dylan Garcia for pouring your time, knowledge, and passion into our boys. The example you set, both on and off the field is shaping them into better players and even better young men. We are so grateful for the impact you’re making!

To the coach who 'just volunteers'
We see you.

We see the text you send at 10 PM to say practice is rained out.
We see you leave your own work early to get the field ready.
We see you talking to our kid after a tough strikeout when you could be talking to your own.
We see you managing a dozen different personalities (and that's just the parents).
We know your 'free time' is spent drawing up lineups and your 'weekends' are spent at the diamond.

You're not 'just a volunteer.' You're a mentor, a leader, and the reason our kids love this game.

So from all of us in the stands who get it... Thank you. ❤️

🎉 THANK YOU, COMMUNITY! 🎉

Because of YOU, we raised $2,200 and sent our boys to Ephrata for their tournament. Feedback from the boys is that this was one of the BEST trips we’ve ever taken as a team!

Your contributions made it possible to:
✅ Feed the boys both nights
✅ Provide lodging for everyone
✅ Cover all the essentials to make this tournament happen

And WOW, did the boys make it count, so many highlights to celebrate!
⚾ JACE HECKMAN: hit the ONLY HOMERUN of the entire tournament & crushed a bases-clearing double!
⚾ DALLEN DUNCAN: hit a clutch double to tie our last game and send us into extra innings!
⚾ ADRIAN CAMARENA: ripped a double off the fence!

Beyond the field, the boys spent time swimming, snacking, laughing, and bonding and when it was game time, they fought all the way to the end.

🎯 How We’ll Use Your Support 🎯

Our team is headed to the Tillage League Tournament in Ephrata, WA (July 10–12)
Here’s how we plan to use your donations:

🏨 Lodging – $2,700
3 nights in 5 rooms @ $180/night so our players have a safe and comfortable place to stay. (fee’s and taxes not calculated in this amount)

🍽️ Team Dinner (1 Night) – $375
A meal for approx. 12 players @ $25 each
This is a chance to bond and celebrate together (tip included in amount)

🥤 Snacks & Drinks – $150
Gatorades, water, and dugout snacks to keep the team fueled.

🧰 Supplies – $75
Covers extra baseball gear, tape, and other essentials.

🧺 Laundry Costs – $60
Washing uniforms mid-tournament to stay fresh and game-ready.

💵 Miscellaneous Player Support – $200
Helps players who may run low on money for meals, toiletries or other needs.

📌 Total Trip Cost: $3,560

🚨 ‼️ BREAKING 🗞️NEWS ‼️ 🚨
Thanks to a strong performance, the Twins have officially qualified for the Tillage League End-of-Season Tournament in Ephrata, Washington! 💪⚾️ The boys have worked hard all summer, and now it’s time to chase the championship 🏆

🗓️ The tournament runs Thursday–Saturday (7/10-7/13), and the Twins will be representing Milton-Freewater with pride!

We’re covering a large portion of the trip for the team, but we still need to raise about $2,000 to cover the rest of travel expenses. On Monday (tomorrow), the boys will be going around town looking for more support.
