⚾ Last Home Game of the Summer ⚾

We wish everyone could see what happens when the lights are off and the field is empty. You’d see a coach who pours his heart into every single player who has ever worn a Twins or Mac -hi jersey.

Baseball changed Coach’s life. It opened the door to a college education. That opportunity shaped the man he is today, and now his mission is to give that same opportunity, hope, and love of the game to the next generation.

For those who choose the path, baseball may open the door to college. For others, it may prepare them to become great fathers, husbands, coworkers, business owners, teachers, first responders, military members, or leaders in their communities.

Our goal has always been to help shape good young men.

Every player leaves an impact. These boys become part of our baseball family long after the final out is recorded.

To every parent who has entrusted your son to this program we truly thank you. We hope they leave with confidence, resilience, accountability, friendships, and life lessons they’ll carry long after their playing days are over.

To our incredible community, thank you. This program exists because of you. To every business that sponsors, every individual who donates, every person who shares our posts, and every supporter who welcomes these boys when they knock on your door raising funds for summer baseball, you are making a difference in their lives.

You have given these young men the opportunity to represent Milton-Freewater with pride and experience something much bigger than baseball.

As we begin to wind down our summer ball season, we wanted to share something with our summer ball family.

Many of you have noticed the #18 decals on our helmets and the memorial banner that proudly hangs at our field. We shared Matthew's story with our high school baseball community, but we also wanted our summer ball community to know why we proudly honor our former teammate, Matthew Cunnington #18.

Summer ball is a unique part of baseball. It comes and goes in what feels like the blink of an eye; a few short weeks filled with games, practices and long evenings. It's a chance for these boys to relax, grow, and continue developing.

Matthew was a huge part of that.

He was one of the pioneers (both literally and figuratively) who helped lay the foundation for bringing our summer ball program back to life. His love for the game, his personality, and the memories he helped create are still part of this program today.

Coach has more than a few hilarious summer ball stories about Matthew. We'll let him tell those himself, so if you catch him between games, ask him about those stories. We promise you'll leave with a smile💛.

Even in the busyness of games and practices, we still find ourselves talking about Matthew. He is organically intertwined with Milton-Freewater baseball. Those early summer ball memories remind us of what truly matters; the friendships and people who leave a lasting impact on all of us.

Matthew's legacy lives on every time these boys take the field wearing #18. He helped build something bigger than himself, and for that, we will always be grateful.

To Matthew, Melissa, and Todd, we haven't forgotten you during the summer. We never do. Matthew, thank you for helping build this program and for continuing to be a part of our team in every single season.

These boys sure cleaned up nice yesterday! After playing in hot hot weather ☀️, the coaches treated the Twins to a nice dinner. Your contributions and donations allowed for them to not only have a time to spend together, but also ice cold refreshing drinks during their games. We are eternally grateful for our community!

As we head into day two in Moses Lake for the Tillage League Tournament, we want to say thank you to everyone who has supported, sponsored, or donated to our team. Because of your generosity, these boys have the opportunity to make unforgettable memories.
The Mac-Hi Twins Baseball program runs entirely on community support, and we truly couldn't do this without you. Your kindness is an investment in these young men, and we are so grateful.

Do you own a business or know of one that might be willing to sponsor or donate to our boys?

These young men have worked their hearts out all summer to earn their spot in the Tillage League Tournament in Moses Lake, and we're so proud of everything they've accomplished.

We're looking for local businesses willing to help offset travel expenses so our players can focus on playing baseball and representing our community with pride.

⚾️ Help Send Our Twins to Moses Lake!⚾️

Our Twins have earned a spot in the Tillage League End-of-Season Tournament in Moses Lake, WA, and we're asking our community to help them finish an incredible summer together.

The Twins Baseball Organization operates entirely through donations and sponsorships. Because of your generosity, these boys have the opportunity to represent our community with pride, learn valuable life lessons, and build memories.

Our boys will leave Thursday morning and begin tournament play that same day. Right now, we're planning for two nights of lodging (Thursday & Friday). If they continue to win, they'll advance through the bracket and could be playing all the way into Sunday.

We are doing one last request for donations to the program.

**About the Tillage League Tournament**
The Tillage League brings together some of the top summer baseball programs from across Eastern Oregon and Washington for a season-ending championship tournament. Teams compete in a double-elimination format, with the opportunity to play through the weekend depending on how they advance in the bracket.
