Me and the brother Erik Belgrade got out for a few hours today and made the most of it. 🏴‍☠️🎣

Ended the session with 3 fish total and some damn good action.

E put a stud bowfin on the board with Mr. Peeperz in Mellow Yellow, and I got mine on El Chapo in Strawberry Lemonade.

Nothing forced. Nothing fancy. Just two brothers, a few hours on the water, and the right baits doing what they’re supposed to do.

That’s fishing.
That’s brotherhood.

Happy Birthday to my brother Juice aka brocolirob25 🎂🏴‍☠️

Got the chance to get him out on the water yesterday for a birthday run and man… we made some memories.

We ended the day with 14 snakeheads and 1 bowfin for a 15 fish boat total, had a few double ups, some savage bites, a couple heartbreakers, and one hell of a day together.

We also ran into another Outlaw in the wild. Big shoutout to Rich Brasoff. Always dope seeing the brotherhood out there doing what we love.

THURSDAY TIP | LET THE WEATHER WORK FOR YOU. 🌩️🐍

A lot of anglers watch the clouds.

The smart ones watch the pressure.

When a storm front starts pushing in, barometric pressure usually begins to fall. That changing pressure can trigger a feeding window because snakeheads sense that something in their environment is shifting. Clouds roll in, light gets lower, conditions get unstable, and those fish often get more willing to move, hunt, and commit.

That’s when you want to be ready.

But here’s the other side of it…

Post front conditions can be brutal.

After the front passes, barometric pressure often shoots back up. Snakeheads can become noticeably less aggressive during that sudden high pressure period. They may feel uncomfortable or “bloated,” sit tighter to cover, conserve energy, and become much less willing to chase a bait across open water.

That’s why the day after a strong front can feel like somebody flipped the switch OFF.

You may still catch them, but now you’ve gotta earn it.

Slow down.
Pick apart cover.
Make repeated casts.
Put that bait right in their face.
And don’t expect every fish to travel ten feet to crush something.

Then, once you get into roughly that second day of sustained high pressure, things often begin stabilizing again. The environment starts becoming the new normal, the fish acclimate, and their feeding behavior can begin resetting.

That’s the game.

Don’t just go fishing.

Study the conditions. Read the water. Read the weather. Put the odds in your favor.

Today we’ve got clouds, a storm front pushing in, and falling pressure…
