NIGHT FOR THE BOOKS!!

Tonight was one of those nights we’ll never forget.

Luke took a pretty hard hit, getting airborne — or as he says, “I flew like a bird!” — which ended his night early. He got the air knocked out of him and was banged up a little. He got checked out by the medics, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on him. I’m sure he’ll be sore for a while, no doubt!

Then there was Beau… he drove his absolute HEART out tonight and PARKED IT IN VICTORY LANE!!

After Luke’s hit and getting checked out, Mom ran out to Beau to let him know his brother was okay. That was all he needed to hear. He gave me the good ol’ head nod and then drove that kart like he stole it!

He came off that track tonight like he had just won the Indy 500, and the only thing he wanted to do afterward was give his brother a hug. That’s what it’s all about.

And to make the night even more special, one of the boys’ BIGGEST supporters, Amy (Rise Academy), came out to watch them! The sparkle in these boys’ eyes when they saw her was absolutely priceless. It meant so much to them to have her there cheering them on.

A HUGE, HUGE thank you to Nathan Sipes for all of his help and support! The way these boys look up to him is just the sweetest thing. We are so thankful for everything he does for them.

One tough night for Luke, one BIG WIN for Beau, and a whole lot of brotherly love.

Definitely a night for the books!

We could never say THANK YOU enough to Rise Academy for being such a huge part of Beau and Luke’s lives.

And especially Amy, who has played such a huge role in molding these boys into the smart, kind, respectful, compassionate, humble, hardworking, thoughtful, and God-fearing young men they are becoming. 🥹

She has watched them grow, encouraged them, challenged them, believed in them, and helped shape their character along the way. The lessons and values they’ve learned at Rise Academy go far beyond the classroom. They help make them who they are on the track and off the track. Through the good races and the bad races, the wins and the losses, the easy days and the hard ones.

We’re so thankful for the people who pour into our boys and help us raise them to be not only good racers, but good people. Their character, how they treat others, how they handle disappointment, how they celebrate others, and how they keep going when things don’t go their way all matter so much more than a trophy.

Amy has been a special part of their story since kindergarten and with bringing them along with her in her journey and start up of Rise Academy. We are beyond grateful for the love, guidance, patience, and example she has given our boys over the years and many more to follow. 💙🥹🥰

Thank you for helping shape the boys they are today and the young men they will become tomorrow. ❤️💛

Finally got back out on the track after Mother Nature went on a winning streak and was it a HOT day!

These boys went out there and ROCKED IT! They both put down their fastest laps!!

Beau bringing home 2nd place
Luke bringing home 3rd place

The best part? Both boys came off that track absolutely beaming with pride over how hard they drove. They gave it everything they had, pushed themselves, and left it all on the track!
