UPDATE: July 4th!
Our Number is #20 We will meet by South of Shake Shack across from Fashion Place Mall on sidewalk of State street.

If you have any Ohana Flags or Banners please bring them! Or any USA or Patriot flags too, for July 4th 250 Murray Parade!

Please be there by no later than 8:00am. Kids should wear Blue and White if they don't have a Ohana Jersey. Please have them wear shorts and comfortable walking shoes. We will have water!! If they choose to bring a water bottle they will be responsible for it. They will want to bring their own candy to hand out, please bring a bag for your kid to throw out. Any water guns/toys are not allowed in the parade so please don’t bring them with you. If any parent or sibling is willing to walk we would love to have you!! Once the kids go through Murray Park we will head over to Hillcrest Jr High where you're able to pick them up!! 🇺🇸 Let's GO OHANA!

JULY 4TH UPDATE:
Our number for the parade is 20!
Meet by just South of Shake Shack Fashion Place Mall; on state street. Our Semi and Trailer will be there.
Line up starts 7:30 AM, parade begins 8:30 AM
No water toys allowed.
Participants are not allowed to go back and forth between walking and riding on floats/vehicles. Walkers will need to be able to walk the entire parade.

Reminder: Murray's 4th July Parade coming up on July 4th! We have all the details of our number and meeting place at Fashion Place Mall when they send it to us. This is open to all of our teams to come and be in the parade again for 2026! Will meet at Fashion Place mall at 7:30 am.

It all started back, in 2015!

The Utah Girls Tackle Football League (UGTFL), founded in 2015, is a trailblazing, rapidly growing non-profit league for girls in grades 3–12. As a premier all-girls, full-contact league, it has grown to over 600 participants, hosting historic championships at the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Key Details About the Launch and Growth
Origin: The league was created to address the demand for girls to play tackle football, launched by Sam Gordon, Brent Gordon, Crys Sacco and Shawn Goetz
Expansion: It has grown from roughly 50 players in its inception year to over 600.
Support: The UGTFL is sponsored by Under Armour.
Significance: It serves as a model for creating safe, dedicated spaces for young women to learn high-quality tackle football, focusing on building self-confidence, camaraderie, and skills..
