The Utah Girls Tackle Football League (UGTFL), founded in 2015, is a trailblazing, rapidly growing non-profit league for girls in grades 3–12. As a premier all-girls, full-contact league, it has grown to over 600 participants, hosting historic championships at the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Origin: The league was created to address the demand for girls to play tackle football, launched by Sam Gordon, Brent Gordon, Crys Sacco and Shawn Goetz
Expansion: It has grown from roughly 50 players in its inception year to over 600.
