🗻 FROM THE HEART OF JAPAN TO THE HEART OF UTAH 🗻

Utah, we have just witnessed true greatness. The man, the master, the myth, the LEGEND—Kancho Masaya Kohama, World President of the Shotokan Shobukan Karate—graced our dojo once again.

He embarked on a journey directly from Japan to share his unparalleled knowledge with us on Friday, August 29th. This world-class seminar was open to all styles, all ages, and all martial arts backgrounds, unifying our community under the banner of excellence.

As part of the Seleny Joanne OPEN International Karate Cup 2025, participants were left in absolute awe. To feel the power, precision, and profound depth of his technique is a privilege that will not be forgotten. Kancho didn't just teach karate; he embodied its very spirit.

Thank you, Kancho Kohama. Your wisdom echoes in our halls and in our hearts. Utah was incredibly lucky to host you for a second time, and we eagerly await your next visit.
