Efflorescence occurs when water passes through porous concrete or mortar, dissolves natural salts and minerals, and then carries them to the surface. When that water evaporates at the waterline, it leaves behind ugly, white, crusty calcium deposits on your brand-new pool tile. Miracote stops the moisture migration that triggers this aesthetic nightmare.

Beautiful new pool/Spa combo. Platinum Ice Travertine coping, 2x6 pool tiles, 1x2 odyssey spa tiles on the rolled neck which are beautiful. Pebble sheen white diamonds plaster with microglass set and cure. Before any of the material was applied, basecrete intercept was applied to the shell and then a basecrete waterproofing membrane was applied to the pool beam and tile line. All of the mortar was mapei moonbeam ultra color plus FA.
