Had a good group today!

We will meet again in 2 weeks.

Our status right now is waiting for 501(c)3 approval. Then I can open a bank account. And we can start taking registration for the fall.

Thanks to those who have stuck around. This is a process and we will have growing pains. But we are doing it for the love of the game!

FYI - if we have more than 20 guys we will have several stations so guys aren’t sitting too long.

Stations:
1. BP in outfield cages
2. Pitching in the bullpen
3. Infield/ outfield on adjacent field

We will rotate every half inning or full inning depending on how fast we are moving. Last time we had some long half innings.

Organizational/ Coaches Meeting
Tonight (May 20th)
7 PM on Zoom

We will be discussing the formation of the organization and the Fall League. Anyone who is interested can join in. Cameras are not necessary and this will be a 30 min MAX meeting.

We had a great turn out yesterday - this was our highest turnout to date with 25 guys. We were able to play 4 full innings. It was a good time.

We are working on finalizing 501(C)3 status, which has been the hold up for basically everything else. However, with that we need bylaws and all sorts of legalese. I'm wrapping all that up now and we should be onto the next step.

Keep spreading the word! Y'alls word of mouth has been the main driver in growing this thing.

Next workout/ scrimmage is scheduled for 5/31. Since this is growing I will be working on a more organized set up for these gatherings. I want to make sure everyone is getting something out of these.

Reminder - today!

We have catchers gear and helmets. We will scrimmage if we get enough guys.

I have waivers for everyone to sign before you can participate. Up to this point we’ve been pretty informal. However, since now we have the means for full play I need to protect myself and the organization. This is a pretty simple waiver, there will be another one when we sign up to play. This just covers me for the time being.

Most were snug on my head and I’m 23” circumference and 7 3/8.

Just a reminder- Sunday come on out!

We have ordered catcher's equipment, it should arrive Friday. One of our own has a catcher's mitt that has graciously offered to let the group use it until we acquire one of our own.

We are still stuck on batting helmets. We honestly thought the helmets would be the easier component but we haven't found any that are cost effective.

If anyone has a helmet, please comment below and maybe we can muster enough to get through this weekend.
