LETS TALK ALL THINGS HORSES (Part 1): starting with tail ribbons!!! If your horse is a kicker you are required to put a red ribbon on the tail of your horse to warn other riders on the grounds! If ANYONE sees that your horse is a kicker they will stop you and make you put a ribbon on the tail for the safety of everyone. This is not being mean, this is for safety! Some of you may not even know if your animal is a kicker or a striker until you put them in a new situation like a rodeo arena or warm up pen. So please if you already know that your animal is a kicker, put a ribbon on it.
New parents please learn these ribbon color and teach your children! This is an across the board thing for shows, rodeos, fair etc. in the horse world.
