Hate that it was us but glad Mike is ok

We will get ours out of the trailer and assess the situation. We wanted to race the STSS race Thursday night at Afton Motorsports Park but now just looking like we will try and piece it together for the season finale at The Official Accord Speedway Friday night to close that season.

Been a really fun year but the last few weeks have been a struggle. Chin up on to the next one 🏁

Obviously NOT the night we were expecting. She was a rocket for the heat win and wasn't going bad in the feature. Even went 4 wide at one point! And then the entry of turn 3 on the next lap the throttle was stuck leading the car to unfortunately collect with the 4 of Traver and then the wall. Got out hoping to make sure Traver was ok as that was definitely one of the hardest hits I've felt in my 21 years of racing. Thankful everyone is ok! 🙌🏼
As for the car.....we are unsure what this week holds. The plan was to race Thursday at Afton as well as Saturday. Being 3rd in points we really don't want to miss out on the opportunity to maintain our spot/improve it. But we don't have an open checkbook so we shall see what the extent of the damage is. And the time to get it fixed.
Hopefully we get to be back Thursday. Thank you to everyone that checked in. 🙌🏼

Racing has a way of teaching you lessons that go far beyond the track.

Sometimes you put in the hours, spend the money, turn the wrenches, make the changes, and give it everything you’ve got… only to look at the results and wonder if you’re getting anywhere.

But not every bit of progress shows up on the scoreboard.

Every bad night teaches you something. Every mistake makes you better. Every setback tests how badly you really want it. The nights when nothing seems to go right are the nights that build the driver, the crew, and the determination it takes to eventually get where you want to be.

Anybody can keep going when they’re winning.

The real test is whether you keep showing up when you’re not.
