Great racing took place yesterday at the LVC Dutchmen invite. The course was a mud-pit in some areas, but that just made it even more fun to run through (check out the team photo for proof!). Shout out to David D. for delivering the first sub-20 minute 5K of our season (19:57.00) and PR's for many other runners. Perfect weather for running last night at the Warrior Twilight Rust Buster. We busted some rust with lots of new PR's, fun commingling with runners from other teams, good food.....and yes, one lost cell phone (which was recovered before departing!)
Congratulations to our fastest male runner of the night Owen Dodds (11:30.7) and female runner Destiny Vazquez 14:21.6.

Up next is a home meet on Tuesday against Milton Hershey and Susquehanna Township, then the LVC Dutchmen Invitational on Saturday. Come out and watch us run!!!!

Highlights from today's Ben & Tim 5K Race in Hershey. This was the team's first competitive 5K of the season with all runners achieving a PR......some by more than 3 minutes!!! Top Middletown runner was David D racing to the finish in 73rd place out of 710 runners. Awesome effort by all runners. Up next......the Warrior Twilight Rust-Buster at Warwick HS next Saturday.

And so it begins!...............

On Wednesday evening 7/15/26, several members of the Middletown Varsity XC team participated in the Harrisburg Mile Run along Front Street and the scenic Susquehanna River. Despite the heat advisory issued for the run, our athletes performed exceptionally well with most running to new PR’s! Our lead runner was Leo Richards, running a 5:46 and placing 21st out of 73 runners in the male 19 and under category. Congratulations to all runners for a job well done and an exciting kick-off to our 2026 season!
