Well, not the way you hope or pray it would go, but we made the best of it. The rain held off for exactly all of announcements, and as soon as we hit the gas pedal on the golf cart it started to sprinkle and then proceeded to pour, and finally we were graced with lightening . I'll tell you one thing though, I didn't hear any complaints and the volunteers did their job with grace. crew are phenomenal hosts, and worked with us through it all. These golf contestants are truly the best! It was a disappointing scenario, and they ultimately overlooked the bad and focused on the good. I am thankful for that! Here's to next time it staying dry. Meadow Valley went above and beyond to take care of our guests and issued golf vouchers for all players which was so nice of them! This is the first time in the history of mankind that a golf tournament champion was determined by who actually got a hole finished and was lowest score (which was a tie) and we then did rock, paper, scissors for the winner 🤦

Annual Tackle Shack Golf Outing We will assess the weather around 7:30am and make a judgment call. Oct 3rd would be the make up date. If that doesn't work for your team you can receive 4 vouchers for 18 holes of golf with cart from now until 2028. Thanks for your understanding.
