One of our favorite seasons has arrived: foaling season.

This year we're incredibly fortunate to have five foals from our own breeding program on the ground, alongside the many broodmares entrusted to our care by clients. Watching the next generation of sport horses take their first steps never gets old.

Meet our first three arrivals: Frame Lightyear (Jac'Potes/ Upsilon AA/Ekstein), Frame Starman (Reveille SPF/Grey Top/Quatar de Plape AA), and Frame Sirene (Reveille SPF/ Canturo/Favoritas xx).

Martin walks through the process of introducing foals to turnout, early handling, and some of the foundational lessons we begin teaching from day one. Because developing sport horses doesn't start when you put a saddle on them—it starts long before that.

We recently had the opportunity to try the new Herm Sprenger North America, LP stirrups, and they immediately earned a place in our tack room.

Congratulations to Kelli Temple and BSF Frame Charleston on a fantastic weekend at the VADA NOVA Summer Dressage Festival!

The pair brought home two blue ribbons and earned Third Level High Point on Sunday, putting in impressive scores of 66% and 68.75%.

Charleston continues to prove himself as a talented and competitive dressage horse, combining quality movement, rideability, and a genuine love for the work. We are incredibly proud to watch him continue to develop, and excited to see what the future holds for this special horse and his next rider.

After welcoming two colts earlier this season, we're excited to introduce our first filly of 2026 out of Dantura! She is already keeping everyone entertained, and we can't wait to watch her grow.

With three more foals still on the way, foaling season is far from over at The Frame.

When you're managing a barn full of horses, from recently backed young horses to competition horses, you quickly learn which pieces of equipment are worth investing in.

For us, one of those staples is Professional's Choice girths.

A good girth needs to do more than simply hold a saddle in place. It needs to be comfortable for the horse, easy to maintain, durable enough for daily use, and practical for riders and trainers. That's why we find ourselves reaching for our Professional's Choice girths again and again.

We especially love the VenTECH and 2XCool models. The breathable materials help keep horses comfortable during long training sessions and hot summer show days, while the contoured shape allows freedom of movement through the shoulder.
