We’re bringing in another elite wrestler and mentor this Wednesday evening at Midd-West High School!

Joining Nick Allison will be Andrew Wert, a Central Dauphin graduate whose wrestling journey has taken him through some of the nation's most respected programs, including Army West Point, Virginia Tech, and Shippensburg University.

🔥 Andrew's accomplishments include:• Three-time PIAA State Medalist• Member of the 100-Win Club• Two-time Beast of the East Medalist• Super 32 National Placewinner• Collegiate competitor at Army West Point, Virginia Tech, and Shippensburg University• Posted a 19-win freshman season at Army West Point and earned multiple collegiate tournament placements throughout his career. This is a tremendous opportunity for our wrestlers to learn from someone who has competed at the highest levels of high school and college wrestling while representing some of the most prestigious institutions in the country.

Congratulations to Senior Salutatorian Mustang Wrestler Charley Paige 🎓🐎🤼 and all the other Midd-West 2026 Graduates!! 👏🏻🧑‍🎓🎉

This evening, Charley Paige delivered the Salutatorian speech that expressed the dedication, discipline, and character that defined his time both in the classroom and on the wrestling mat.

We are incredibly proud to have had Charley as part of our Mustang Wrestling family. He has set the standard for what it means to lead by example-through hard work, perseverance, humility, and a commitment to excellence.

Wrestling teaches lessons that extend far beyond competition. The sport develops discipline, resilience, accountability, and the ability to overcome adversity-qualities that prepare young men and women for success in life and their future endeavors. Charley has embodied those lessons every step of the way.

Thank you for the example you've set for your teammates, classmates, and community. Your accomplishments are a reflection of countless hours of dedication and determination.

Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, Charley. We can't wait to see all that you accomplish in the next chapter of your journey.

🌀Coach Walker will be leading a clinic @ MWHS on Saturday, June 13th.
