“Just open your mat to open your mind, for an inflexible body leads to an inflexible mind.”
Meredith Weil, B.A., J.D, believes improving the life of others is the vehicle for the improvement of our own. Through teaching yoga, her holistic coaching practice, and her own journey of transforming self-doubt into self-love she has discovered the tools to help impact the lives of others in a positive w
ay and now assists others in their own process of self-discovery and transformation. She is a co-author of Pebbles in the Pond Wave 5, published by Transformation Books, being released on June 21, 2016. Meredith teaches her students to step outside their comfort zone, in turn, building confidence and helping to overcome their doubts and fears. She combines the power of journaling, yoga, nutrition, meditation and affirmations to assist her clients in making breakthroughs and self-discoveries. These same practices helped her heal her own physical ailments and illnesses. Sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, along with a debilitating kidney infection and chronic UTIs being almost a daily battle for Meredith and these tools especially yoga, provided a temporary respite and solace when there was very little in her life. After years of practice, Meredith decided she wanted to help others heal through teaching, so became a certified Gentle Therapeutics Teacher Training and received her 200 RYT in 2014. Shortly thereafter, Meredith took her love of yoga off the mat and onto the board and became a certified Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga teacher and is a team member of Yoga-Water Miami. http://yoga-water.com/on-paddleboard/teachers/. Meredith believes practicing yoga in the beauty of nature combined with the water element is one of the most enjoyable ways to connect, reduce stress and find balance within. Most recently, Meredith was certified as a Vimana aerial yoga instructor. She teaches both groups and private classes in the Miami area that help students reduce stress, enhance flexibility and increase self-confidence. As a certified Holistic Health Coach, she helps guide individuals in transitioning to a more sustainable, plant-based diet, featuring nutrient dense whole foods and a reduction of processed foods and refined sugars in their diets. Many of today’s chronic diseases can often be linked to poor diet and lack of exercise. Meredith creates a supportive environment that enables her clients to achieve all of their health goals.
