Come learn Traditional West African Drumming and dancing every Wednesday from 8-930 at Studio Dance 8 South Dixie Highway in Lake Worth. Nko Fallou Fall was born into a world of African and Caribbean music and dance. At the age of 5 he began his training on the Djembe drum, and learned traditional music and dance under the direction of his mother, Fatou N'Diaye. Djembe and Sabar followed Fallou al

l his life as he studied and mastered Djembe, Sabar, Kuitro, Djun djun and Bougarabou .He continued his studies at Boston Arts Academy, where he improved his knowledge of reading music and classical percussion. As a sophomore he was invited to play to play with Boston Arts Academy Charlie Brown blues band. He continued his Djembe knowledge playing in the family dance company Silimbo D' Adeane. Throughout his life Fallou was mentored by the best drummers and dancers from Senegal, Mali, and Guinea such as Lansana Diabate, Samba "Pape" Cisse, Mamdou Cisse, Kissima Diabate, Sidi "Joh" Camara, Mohammad Kalifa Camara, Lamine Toure, Fatou Ndiaye, Ousmane Sall, Ramon Sylla, Maimouna Diallo,Sory Diabate, Mamadou Lynx N'Diaye, Sekou Sylla and the list goes on. He has performed Drum and dance for Silimbo A'deane, Les infants du soleil, Rumbax MIT,Bolo ,Samba LOLO,Rumba Africa touring the United States with Niancho Eniyaley, Florida's own Ballet Brika and Delou African Dance and Drum, Ajose Afrikan just to name a few. By this time Fallou had picked up several West African instruments and studied them intensely. Currently Nko Fallou is working with his own group Troupe Fall, Teaching in West Palm Beach,Ft.Lauderdale,Delray beach and Miami and has re- located to South Florida since December 2011.
