Get Giannis First, Figure Out the Rest Later: Why Miami Can't Afford to Overthink the Details" 😤🔥🔥

Wes Goldberg GOES IN on Heat fans who are concerned about the depth after a Giannis trade:

“The depth stuff, I DON’T CARE! What are we talking about? This team stinks! They didn’t make the playoffs! Give them all the depth they want. This depth isn’t good enough. I’m not going to haggle. I love Jaime, I love Kas, I love Kel’el, all those guys. Goodbye. See ya. We’re done here. Let’s do the Giannis thing. We can’t be worse with Giannis than we were without Giannis.”

The Giannis Sweepstakes still the Heat to lose 👀🔥🔥🔥

Giannis’ preference remains unchanged here. If traded, he’s made it clear to the Bucks that he wants Miami. Not Boston, not New York. Miami.

Whether or not the FO abides to get him there, or is willing to take a ‘lesser’ deal to do right by their franchise star, remains unclear.

The Italian Sniper wants to remain with the Heat Next Season 🫡🔥🔥🔥

After his contract with the Miami Heat expired, Fontecchio will become an unrestricted free agent on June 30 and hopes to secure a new deal to remain in the NBA. The Italian national team star averaged 8.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 16.8 minutes per game last season while shooting 38% from three-point range.

“I hope to find a place for next season,” Fontecchio told Sky Sport Italia. “I would love to stay in Miami because I felt very comfortable there and my family enjoyed it too. It would be important for me to continue what I built over the last year.”

Fontecchio also confirmed his availability for Italy’s national team during the upcoming FIBA World Cup 2027 qualifiers in August. Italy currently sits first in Group D and is aiming to secure a spot in the next qualification phase.

Long Time Bucks Reporter Gerry Woelfel Confirms that Miami are the Preferred Destination of Milwaukee Superstar Giannis Antetokoumpo 👀🔥🔥🔥

The Bucks have incessantly kissed Antetokounmpo’s posterior, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone if they appease him one final time and trade him to Miami, his preferred destination … even if the Bucks would get superior offers from other teams. - Gerry

The Heat are set to workout with Virginia Cavaliers big man Ugonna Onyenso will work per Rob Murrows 👀🔥🔥

Ugonna Onyenso is the only Virginia player to receive an invite to the NBA Draft Combine. It is a reflection of all the hard work he put in and how successful he was with the Cavaliers this past season. Onyenso averaged 6.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks. He was a major player on the defensive end for the Hoos this season, which is why they played so well defenisvely.

Onyenso shot 56.8% from the field, 27.8% from 3-point range and 72.7% from the free throw line and reached double figures in six games. He blocked multiple shots in 25 games and four or more in 12 contests and posted a season-high 18 points and 10 rebounds in his second career double-double vs. Hampton (11/11/25) and tallied nine blocks to set the ACC Tournament record at 21 and added eight rebounds and six points vs. Duke (3/14/26)

Could be a nice pick in the second round especially if the Heat trade Ware , Onyeso could be his replacement off the bench 👀🔥🔥

Column Number 2: THE HEAT CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE THE GIANNIS SWEEPSTAKES 👀🔥🔥

For years, the Miami Heat have operated with one guiding philosophy: always chase the superstar.

If Giannis Antetokounmpo ever truly becomes available, Miami cannot afford to finish second. Not after years of staying flexible, protecting assets, and preserving cap space for the next franchise-altering move.

The Heat are stuck in one of the NBA’s most dangerous positions — good enough to compete, but not good enough to seriously threaten for a championship. In today’s league, that middle ground can become a trap.

Giannis changes everything.

His arrival would instantly give Miami a legitimate championship core, restore the franchise’s long-term direction, and reestablish the organization as a true powerhouse in the Eastern Conference. More importantly, he perfectly embodies everything “Heat Culture” values: relentless effort, elite conditioning, defensive intensity, and playoff toughness.

That’s why, if the opportunity finally comes, the Heat may have no choice but to go all in.

Column #1: What Is Tyler Herro Actually Worth?

Personally, I don’t buy the rumors about a certain NBA executive saying that no team wants Tyler Herro. I think it’s completely overblown.

Herro is on an expiring contract, which could be valuable for any team looking for a short-term rental they could either let walk or extend depending on his performance.

People also forget that Herro was an NBA All-Star just last season. Time and time again, he has shown how explosive he can be offensively. Herro can still give any team 20 points per night, which is extremely valuable for teams that desperately need another scoring punch next to their stars.

Herro has also improved his playmaking throughout the years, making him an ideal fit for teams that lack a true playmaking guard. The Houston Rockets could be a potential destination, while the Detroit Pistons may also look into adding a scoring guard next to Cade Cunningham if they become aggressive in the market. Even a rebuilding team like the Brooklyn Nets could take a swing on Herro, considering he is still young enough to fit their timeline.

Ultimately, I believe Herro can still bring back at least a first-round pick, a solid role player, and cap relief — assets the Miami Heat could potentially use in a future pursuit of Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Westbrook To Miami who says no ??? 👀🔥🔥🔥

Russell Westbrook could reportedly be a ‘name to watch’ for the Miami Heat this offseason, per

Westbrook ended up playing in 64 games and making 58 starts. He averaged 15.2 points per game to go along with 6.7 assists, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. Westbrook also shot 42.7 percent from the floor and 33.8 percent from the three-point line.

Even at 37 years old, Westbrook remains a highly productive point guard.

This offseason, the Heat could use some more
help in the back-court.
