Did I just read that the average person accidentally swallows 8 spiders a year in their sleep? 🕷️ Actually, it’s a myth, but I just found out the real truth: most tap water contains microscopic 'water bears' (Tardigrades) that are basically indestructible. You’ve probably swallowed a colony today. Sleep tight!

Is it just me, or does Cedar Creek Lake feel... off lately?
I was out by the Seven Points side yesterday, near the old bridge, and I saw something I wasn’t supposed to see. We all know the lake was man-made in the 60s, but has anyone ever actually looked at the old maps of the towns they flooded to make it?
I met an old-timer at a diner who told me they didn't just move the houses—they left the old cemetery at the bottom of the deepest trench. He said the "stumps" people hit with their boats aren't all trees. Some of them are the tops of old iron fences.
But here’s the controversial part: The city knows. I found a "No Trespassing" sign near a drainage pipe that wasn't there last week. When I peeked inside, there were fresh flowers and a pair of children's shoes sitting on the concrete. Not old, rotted ones. New ones.
People say the "drownings" every summer aren't accidents. They say the lake is just taking back what we buried underneath it. If you’re swimming and feel something cold grab your ankle... it’s not a catfish.

My neighbor’s internet went out, and he asked for my WiFi password 'for an hour.' That was two weeks ago and he’s still logged in. Instead of changing the password, I sent him an invoice for 50% of my monthly bill plus a $10 'Convenience Fee.' He says I’m being 'un-neighborly. Thoughts?

I am 100% in favor of firing every single human referee and replacing them with AI drones and sensors. I don't care about the 'human element' of the game—I care about the CORRECT call. If a computer says it was a foul, it was a foul. My dad says it 'takes the soul out of the game.' I say the 'soul' of the game is winning fairly.
